Marvel's NEW X-MEN MOVIE WON'T Be What You Think!

Marvel Studios' new X-men movie won't be what fans think it's going to be. Marvel Studios is reportedly making a new X-Men film that will be released before Avengers Secret Wars and will lead into the next Avengers film. However, this isn't the new X-Men, and not exactly the old X-Men either, but a different X-Men universe about to collide with our main universes earth. This will finally bring the Avengers, The X-Men and the Fantastic Four together in the same universe in the MCU.

I heard a great idea somewhere that we could have an X-Men vs Avengers movie where both sides are convinced there will be an incursion and the only way to save themselves is to destroy the other universe. That could be a great storyline where there are no good or bad guys just two groups fighting for their own survival.

I'm so bored of Multiversal stuff. The MCU went downhill when that all started. I was looking forward to a brand new group of X Men in the MCU and it shouldn't be old members from the Fox-Verse. The new X Men was the perfect chance to move on from the Avengers which have mostly gone now.

I’m an avid X-men fan love the franchise, concept, artwork and symbolism. Theres so much diversity in character that I’m desperate to see at least some of these mutants that I’m about to list.. Weather it’s a glorified cameo or a supporting role I just hope that we will see the cinematic debut of Nate Grey (X-man) Rachel Grey, New Son, Jamie Braddock, Absolon Mercator, Matthew Malloy, Onslaught, the Fury, Sage, Cipher, MEGGAN PUCEANU, hope summers. Whatever Disney decide to do with the IP, they need to maximise the source material at all costs because there’s so much potential for great, original, storytelling due to the lucrative backlog of mutants, icons, key players who contribute to the outstanding mythos that is the X-men.

I think its likely that it will play out this way. Same way it did for the Arrowverse during Crisis on Infinite Earths. They merged multiple universes together from different shows into one. Now we get Iron Man and Cap back without having to hope actors who want to move on to come back like RDJ and Chris Evans.

5:18 i'm kind of glad the FF universe is from a 60s Jetsons alternate 1960s style universe. i think it kind of helps simplify things for where stuff lines up and not give anyone writing this a headache or any casuals a headache. And you can just simply point in a few words and say, this FF comes from a 1960s universe where they were the big major super heroes and now they're coming to our (MCU, we've been following for years) universe where they've never existed. or something like that as a short explanation.

I would love a new x-men movie with new actresses and actors. I think tho it should be built to with some members getting solo projects like they did for the avengers. I also think it should be after secret wars where the x-men & the fantastic 4 get a saga dedicated to them. Now if they do indeed make a new movie that'll come out before secret wars and it's their new team, then I think at least it should be based in a different universe where after secret wars they end up in the main universe and there the new x-men team. Having the multiverse, whether planned to be a savior or not, has turned out to be the best thing for the MCU. It has allowed Marvel to move around without the boundaries of reality, but it also has given them the opportunity to realize where they've messed up and then simply clip that timeline. As Deadpool says, he's Marvel Jesus, and they're going to use him to eliminate and wrap up some bad stories and characters in a soft reboot, and then Secret Wars will give us a full on reboot where they can do some more pruning. X-Men and Fantastic Four existing in a different universe allows those movies to get started, and then brought into the main universe at another time. I'm ready for it, LFG!

I think the X-Men introduction should revolve around a “Sentinel War”. I think the base team should start with Professor X, Magneto, Emma Frost, Forge, Beast, Morph, & Bishop.. they go around recruiting mutants for X-Men University. Instead of the X-Mansion, make it a University. In the Dark Avengers & Eternals movies they could introduce Trask, Gyrich, Senator Kelly, & Stryker and jump start the “Mutant registration act” effect. I figure this way Cyclops, Jean, Gambit, Jubilee, Havok, Collosus, Magik, Nightcrawler, Rogue, Ice-Man, & ArchAngel can all get recruited by the base team. Kelly finds out about the recruiting, get with Allegra, they start building the sentinels. And that who mutants battle leading up to secret wars.. just a thought!

What if X-men '97 is the team that comes into the MCU so you don't have to revisit their origin stories or deal with having to wait to introduce the whole mutant universe? What if instead of an incursion, where one or two universes are completely destroyed, there is a convergence where 2 universes/realities merged into one? This could further explore other life memories, the Mandela Effect, and "you and I remember Budapest very differently." After the convergence, only a few Omega level mutants will "remember" that they've been displaced from their original timeline so Magneto can still have his Holocaust origin and remember it like he was a survivor not that long ago despite most everyone else not remembering the Holocaust in the MCU timeline because it was "way before their time". For example, what if Magneto always existed in the MCU timeline but was never a mutant or Holocaust survivor but the child of a Holocaust survivor and when the 2 Magnetos merge into one, the dominant mutant gene is the one that defines the character? So to Magneto, the Holocaust was his personal trauma but to the MCU, he only has a personal connection to the Holocaust because he is a child of a Holocaust survivor. By introducing the already established X-Men teams into the MCU, you can also include X-Factor, X-Force, New Mutants, and Generation-X so that everyone can have the X-Men they grew up with. MCU wouldn't have to retell all the stories done before but just revisit them through small flashback scenes or exposition dumps. MCU can even rewrite some of the older MCU movies by inserting mutants in them. Re-release and special edition media alone would generate additional profits. So when your children or grandchildren have only watched Endgame edition where the X-Men fought Thanos alongside the Avengers, you can tell them "you and I remember Endgame very differently." And this way, they can still put out plenty of content for the next 20 years by having a greater variety of characters to focus on instead of just the original X-Men or Avengers.
