I personally can't wait to replace my leg with cyborg upgrades (it's been delayed a year or two due to complications) As I said ages ago I was given cyborg and robot toys as a kid so that I wouldn't grow up being scared of having limbs replaced. Toys are more than something to occupy kids and keep them quite. It can help them face the future.

I bet amazing yamaguchi can make a hell of a deathlock based on their design

I'm guessing that's not going to happen any time soon. But the more figures that come out, the more like that someone will attempt a custom.

My favorite version of deathloc was the 90,s one Mike Collins I think his name was. He was a family man and pacifist who hated violence, and ironically had his brain placed in a deathloc body to be sold for war by his evil corporate boss who killed him when he threatened to go public with his evil deeds. Mike regains control of his new body and fights back. It was a great 90,s series.

I didn't like the chest hose when I first saw previews of this guy, but now that I know it's officially a "goo hose" it has become my favorite feature on the new Deathlok!
@SecretGalaxyTV6 жыл бұрын
It's only a "goo hose" in my personal head cannon. I don't know what it's actual function is. Maybe Deathlok's torso is full of ammo and it feeds his guns.

You're a lot closer person Dan for making this video because Deathlok is my favorite character of all fiction

I just saw him and Paladin at TrU. I got the Avengers infinity war wave one figure at a time at 7 different Walgreens and found the Walmart Thanos at West Palm Beach 40 miles away from home. Gwenpool at Target and the rest of Spider-Man Lizard BAF at a comic book store for $10 over regular price. I'm ashamed of myself for pulling the trigger this early but I really want this wave and it was for a good cause. To support my local comic book store. Still missing Mysterio and Punk.

When you didn't even know a wave was out yet, but just got Proxima Midnight over the weekend a female body with a space Lazer spear & double jointed elbows so everything else I may not be able to contemplate now that Hasbro has given us this gift.. I even chose her over Black Widow with Motorbike. It was a hard decision, my budget said I couldn't get both & had to leave 1 for the next collector, I came back a few minutes later & put the BW back & picked up Proxima, still wondering if I were to go back this weekend will she still be there... I bet with my luck that's when I'll have to decide between between 3 figures then or only figures from 2015-16 will be there.

Marvel Legends is a collectors line and gimmicks normally end up getting the shaft, in these kinds of lines such as Masters of the Universe classics if the toy had a gimmick origanly, that gimmick will be cut in order to streamline the figure.

I can't sanction how these action figure collectors constantly lambast the old Toy Biz figs in all thier reviews, it's friggin egregious! They're so harsh on a company that bestowed us with some of the most innovative and unprecedented action figures in decades. If it weren't for Toy Biz (T.B.), the toy Community would have never been introduced to 6in super poseable action figures; T.B. popularized them. Should we really speak ill of the deceased (Toy Biz)? Plus, T.B. attempted to cram in as much "bang for your buck" back in the Halcyon Days of Marvel Legends (clamp shell packaging, diorama backdrops, a succinct character bio and stats, a comic, highly detailed bases and accessories, humongous baf pieces, and usually one-off, immensely poseable figs). I always felt it was quality over quantity with T.B. They were craftsmen not trepidatious to invest a tad more money in plastic (The Hulk Classics line, Jugs, Dragon Man, The Buzzing Beetle, etc.). Hasbro till this day incessantly reuses and retools bucks, granted, they're ameliorating a lot of their upcoming figures (for example: Deathlok). I be remiss not to mention that fricken Hasblow recycles the same head sculpts over and over again (Luke Cage, Comic Drax, and radioactive man, to the mass majority of the females' countenances all looking practically homogenized). Albeit, I'll admit, of the plethora of T.B. Marvel Legends figs (ranging on the gamut from X-Men to the symbiotes), not all have stood the test of time. Redundant and unnecessary articulation, rudimentary face sculpts (primarily, the women figs. Perhaps, T.B. had a fetish for homely broads) gangly and awkward proportions, and quality control issues (especially, towards the end of their run), are just some of the common grips disgruntled and average collectors alike have. Mind everybody, I'm not slighting Dan, he's a quriky dude, I adore his verboseness and affable demeanor. Everyone's entitled to thier own opinions. I just felt the urge to remind people how great Toy Biz was. I'll internally love and respect them, while cherishing thier old figs, even the hideous ones.
@SecretGalaxyTV6 жыл бұрын
Toy biz did lot of really great stuff. They did a lot right. But for me, I didn't care for the line at all while it was going. I found most of the figures to be so overly articulated that they were aesthetically unappealing to me and on top of that, when I DID buy one... it would never stand and many times the articulation didn't actually make it POSE better so what was the point? Their paint apps were great. Their accessories were fantastic. But for me, there was more bad than good ooverall over the life of the line. Taking a look at my collection, most of the Toybiz stuff that I still have is stuff that hasn't been updated yet like Beast, Longshot, Nightcrawler, Sabretooth, Professor X, Werewolf by Night, Falcon... etc. It's not a bad line of figures. It's historic. It's legendary. But when a figure like Deathlok comes along, I gotta call it like I see it.
@zekehalloran61226 жыл бұрын
Toy Galaxy I totally understand, a lot of my Toy Biz Spideys were fragile with loosey goosy warped joints, and couldn't stand up to save Aunt May. I appreciate your response, keep up the good work.
