I KNEW the old frankenberrys were oats. I got a box of these a few years ago and couldn’t believe how horrible they were compared to the way I remember them. They’re AWFUL!

I have been married to my wonderful wife for 22 years. We played Monopoly one time 21 years ago. It’s still banned in our house even though we have 3 kids now.

This game always ended with somebody getting pissed off. If ever there was a symbol of how much capitalism sucks.

The last time I played Monopoly with others was probably about 5 years ago. My wife and I were playing with our friend and his partner. I'm Israeli, he's Palestinian. We quickly divided the board between us, knocking our wives out of the game. We decided to call it a draw before things got heated. lol

I have a basic and Star Wars version of Monopoly. Also have Star Wars Risk. And Star Wars Trivial Pursuit.

Hope it's not gauche to shout out another channel on this excellent channel, but No Rolls Barred is a boardgame channel that has done a series of riffs on Monopoly, starting with Communopoly hosted by a REAL actor portraying Joseph Stalin. It's all played for laughs. Except when he gets serious. Then nobody is allowed to laugh.

I enjoyed Monopoly as a kid, haven't played it in ages. Long long time ago I got rid of my regular Monopoly, but to this day still keep my Muppets Monopoly I also got ages ago. Kind of wish I had kept the normal version just because, since the game has gone through so many changes and that version at least was probably from the late 80's or early 90's. Be kind of fun to see the difference. But yeah, haven't played either way so oh well.

I remember one summer when a bigger group of my family all rented a cabin in Maine for a week or so and my cousins (younger than me) kept one or maybe two games going on throughout the whole time, just returning it to when we wanted and asking everyone else not to touch that table. It was fun. I loved it in my middle school and High School years. I did know the history, but only when I saw the episode of "The Toys that Built America."

Excellent presentation. Yes the girl is a blockbuster and their comrades like video town and other such things. The local video store place where you could go. Get some snacks. Meet some friends and get your videos like a library. If you would I always like a library. Interestingly enough library is on the way up to, unfortunately I couldn’t believe when I have and saw that my high school was tearing down their library and the town I lived in for a while had two library and now they’re not gonna have any cause of computers. Funny thing is the blocker could’ve owned Netflix twice, and if they had, I bet Redbox wouldn’t exist because they have the power in the ability to block red box. I’m sorry I’m old-fashioned. Digital has a place of course but I like physical media because if you’ve seen lately. They’ve been changing digital even copies you own. They can go in and change it. Take parts out. Add parts in and unless you have the original DVD or Blu-ray. You can’t see the original movie Dumbo anyone or Hunter of the title like that. I’m sorry if I went on too long. It’s just your presentation was so good and inspires me to talk to. Hopefully I said something that you would enjoy. Thanks for the fun. I appreciate it until next time.
