This figure takes a lot of patience, but it has some great posing potential. Since the claws are easily interchangeable, I’m hoping someone makes 3D printed alternate claws. Fully articulated ones would be great, but some silly ones (like cigar holding or alcohol holding) would be great too.

Robo, I would definitely recommend being more careful when moving the tentacles. Always hold a tentacle using another hand closer to the body when bending. Some people have had theirs sheer off at the glued in joint from torque forces. PS - The ML team have already hinted that a new Lizard and Electro are coming.

Robo, here's a hint on how to make that Green Goblin funner and easier to pose on that glider. Take the foot platforms off the glider, stick them on Gobby's feet, get him all crouched down the way you want, and then stick him on the glider when you're done. It still takes some adjusting, but now you aren't constantly fighting the glider while trying to get him posed. Also helps if you articulate the glider's wings down as far as they can go before you stick him on. One more thing worth noting is that he also has drop down hips, which might be what's causing that little standing issue you're having. All this in mind, I can get him into some really deep crouches on that thing. There is a learning curve, but it's worth it. I actually modded mine to give him more torso articulation, but even before that I really loved it. Wish we'd get a comic Green Goblin with this much dedicated love put into it. Great review, really excited to get this Doc Ock when I can actually find one!

Great review, you've got me pulling Otto down off the shelf and reposing him, he's balanced on the back legs for a few weeks for me but I notice the pegs for the flat claws on the bottom are beginning to warp their way out under the weight, so I'm going to adjust his pose to have him standing on his own two feet for a while. SO glad you mentioned the detents on Gobby's legs, the hips and ankles have weird detents on mine where standing him normally is harder than it should be, one leg juts out at the hip and the ankles don't like being flat, the detents either want to have his feet point in or out. Granted I still prefer that figure to Doc Ock purely because I feel it's more playable, more dynamic, more flashy, plus I just like Dafoe's Goblin as a character more. Otto's somewhat inherently restricted but that's fine, he does what he needs to do and he's a great release but now we really need Max. He had by far the biggest design boost in that film and he could have some fun electric accessories, I'd love a grinning head with the homage to the comic mask made of electricity.

2:10 Just received and opened mine (and had not yet seen too many reviews because SPOILERS). Had the exact same experience. Was already looking for images or a video like this to use as reference for the parts I was missing and contact the shop. Then while doing a double take on the junk pile(!) in my work room, I spotted the extra paper on the inner box. At least this video (and Dan Who's by extention) assured me that I'm not the only one who assumed the parts would be together in the bag with the parts. It's like they forgot to put these bits in and then decided it was easier just to slap it on with some tape instead of adding it in the proper bag.

You know, the old movie Doc Ock made by ToyBiz had fully articulated pincers. If you were to cut those off and connect them to the pegs of the Hasbro figure, you would have completely functional arms! Just an idea to any customizers out there. so there was leak a while back about the nwh wave and part of it was a target exclusive electro. that being said, the green goblin was jus supposed to be a single carded 7th figure in the wave, so its subject to have changed. im thinking they ran into similar issues with jamie fox, but since electro changed so much for NWH, they cant just release it labeled as amazing 2

I’m about to get Doc Ock and I can’t wait Yeah the designs aren’t exactly the same as the originals in the Rami movies but it is awesome to see Otto stand side by side with Sandman, Green Goblin and Tobey. Even pairing them with Andrew makes me imagine what his versions of these villains would look like. it just brings me back to my childhood when I had all the toys as a kid and I’m angry at myself that I didn’t keep them or they broke but now as an adult these are on the shelf. It’s a reminder to how much those films and characters mean to me, how they shaped my love of comic books and superheroes and supervillains

If I had got this in 2023 it’s #1 in my top 10. It’s so much fun play around with. I wonder how durable it will be after I’ve manipulated it hundreds of times. I’ll be shocked if NWH Lizard and Electro aren’t mid year deluxe offerings. Summer time fun to separate $40-50 from your wallet. I’m greedy. I want a multiverse of May three pack. I want a ML type Mysterio/Stark/EDITH drone. Heck I liked the Far from Home Marvel Legends figures we got including the BAF. Ock is great! That has to be a substantial wire in those harder plastic tentacles. Those things are stout. I do wish the set came with four total of articulated, clawed, and completely flat feet for tentacle, more just for symmetry. The bottom tentacles have the larger feet and the top have the smaller more triangular ones.

Yup, I was watching some Spider-Man 2 clips after I finished editing and realized the top two are the smaller "talking" tentacles and the bottom two are the bigger gripping grabbers. I'd also go for some extra big flat standers to have another tentacle or two on the ground for even more dynamic poses.

A part of me is gonna miss this wave of No Way Home Marvel Legends and other imports. But I’ll be there for when they reveal the Mafex versions! All I need to complete my personal and favorable collection is the Final Swing S. H. Figuarts Spider-Man and Final Swing Marvel Legends Spider-Man. The two figures we won't get are Harry and Venom from Spiderman 3. That's okay though. We've got Tom Hardy's Venom which is a great figure in its own right. Speaking of, did anyone else find it strange that we got five villains in NWH instead of (Sinister) six? We saw Tom Hardy get pulled into the MCU at the end of Venom 2 only to get sent back in a post credit scene in NWH with zero explanation. Like was he supposed to be the (Sinister) sixth villain and they just chickened out?
