You'd make a damn fine Wolverine, Shart. I was just a kid in college when the original, smaller Secret Wars figures first came out. A buddy of mine and I skipped Health Class the day they hit the shelves at Toys R Us. I bought an Iron Man and put him on my desk. Next thing you know, all the geeks at my school were buying them. It was hard to be a geek back then. We took a lot of crap for our hobbies.

I remember in the very late 80's or very early 90's, as a kid, going to a shopping center nearby, alone, to buy (and look at all the others i wanted but couldn't afford) my x-men figures. Life was awful back then, due to several childhood stuff happening, but those figures, like the cartoon and comic book collecting made me so happy and gave me something to look for and to dream about. But i agree, being a nerd/geek back then was rough haha Amazing how times have changed and what we would consider a geek/nerd back then we now see as cool people :) All the best to you!

@@igorsenayoutube, thanks so much for your kind words. Yeah, things were certainly different back then. I remember having to hide my Star Wars figures in my room like they were drugs. Getting caught, buying Superman comics at the drugstore could get you beat up. And then there was the lying media, telling parents D&D would lead me down the path of devil worship. The crap we had to go through back then was unbelievable.

Hoping Hasbro takes note on how Jada does the leg articulation. Instead of a hard shell for the butts it should be sculpted higher while having the base of the leg joint start at the lower butt. Just like Cammy and Chun Li. Heard this from Anthony’s Customs. If marvel could learn from that and redo Psylocke and Elektra in that style that’d be awesome. And especially for Spider-Man and Daredevil. A Marvel Knights wave with better articulation in the lower body would be nice. These figs look nice but it’d be nice to do a full back kick going 180 behind without bending the knee or drop down.

I know this particular Wolverine is from Secret Wars but I am personally going to display him in my Outback X-MEN shelf which I like the head sculpt but I do wish he did came with an angry cowl head sculpt, Overall, Awesome review.

Vintage Marvel Secret Wars were like He-Man articulation meets Super Powers scale. The lack of knee articulation irked me as a kid. I thought the soft plastic was an interesting, it had a pleasant tactile feel.

I noticed the shoulders on this spidey are difficult to get past 90 degrees for me. For me I have to rotate it inward and then use the shoulder hinge, and then rotate it back

Idc what anyone says, but the AF buck for Spidey is closest to his actual size. RYV buck is too tall for Spidey. He’s 5’10” - he’s supposed to be smaller than a 6’2 Cap and a 6’6 Iron Man

Not trying to complain, but is it just me or is Hasbro like afraid of Peter Parker or something 😭 Other than the “recent” vhs Peter and the MCU Figs, we haven’t got a nice Peter head in a WHILE. The renew your vows 2 pack one did have a maskless, but wasn’t it still the same mold from that old Kraven two pack but just new paint apps? Wish Hasbro created some new Peter heads or even just a normal clothes version (I did hear that a battle damaged suit was leaked). Really sucks how they couldn’t at least give us a new Ben Reilly head with the new Scarlet figure. It also would’ve been cool if we could’ve had a head with some symbiote on it like the mafex head.

Retro Spidey is not Sunfire mold and it's still the best option out there, even if it's not pinless. The new one is very disappointing. Too many QC issues to consider it acceptable. If you don't mind the smaller size, I think you might prefer the CT Toys alternative.
