Its ridiculous and definitely intentional by Hasbro to get folks to buy other Wolverine figures that have those desired headsculpts.

I will try to ignore Psylocke's hair flowing one way on both head sculpts & her cloak going the other. Almost Hasbro, almost.

I really value your opinion on construction, materials used, and texture as an amateur customizer, agree about the angry wolverine head being absent. Psylocke is the prize, great review👍🏼

Got it for the Psylocke, but ended up loving that pinless Wolverine with flawless paint apps.

I bought this one mainly for the Psylocke. I can use her as a member of my Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. I can now claim a 24 + 1 Brotherhood. They are still outnumbered by my 53 + 1 X-Men in 4 different Teams. They are divided into X-Men, X-Factor, X-Force, New Mutants, and a small Mansion staff.

Honestly wanted both Wolverine is one of definitely favorites and This design for Psylocke is awesome. Plus I'm a big fan X-Men so had to have both.

No, never expected this Psylocke. She is like 1/2 a story? I can probably count the images in my hand(s)? But it is a good design. I do wonder if MAFEX or Revoltech can do a better job for Psylocke - a better colored armor or cloth cape or something? I really like the Wolverine/Logan heads. The sculpts are good. The smirk is his personality, but a scream head would be great too. I also don’t mind the hunch neck. It would be better if it could be articulated so he can stand up normal - maybe the ab crunch, but on the neck? Overall, pretty good set if it must come in twos.

The shoulder placement on Wolverine is atrocious. I know legends shoulder usually do ride a bit low, but that looks awful ...are the other Wolverine figures like that and I just never noticed?! Sik

The figure usually has a shoulder pauldron/pad. he should have came with his sword and alt hand. Tsk tsk Hasbro.

I wouldn't consider the slight smirk vastly different than the neutral head for it to warrant those being the two head sculpts. The Sabretooth pack also had the same issue where the art shown on the box is not only an angry expression, he's also got no cowboy hat on but the figure comes with no angry head and 2 cowboy hat sculpts. For the patch set, Hulk also has an angry head - feels like wolverine should have one to match. It's definitely odd considering the artwork was specifically new solicited pieces, it definitely should've matched. Maybe it was a sculpting choice because it required less effort to make the face smirk vs more effort in sculpting the angry expression?

Q of the Day 1: I didn’t want either of them, but I’ve always been a fan of the “something for everyone” approach to character selection. I feel like I’ve been able to cross my fair share of characters off my want list this year, so good for those that wanted one or both versions of these characters. Q of the Day 2: These days, I’m more surprised when something painfully obvious that collectors have been clamoring for (like Crystal and Lockjaw) is announced as opposed to obscure or story specific characters/versions.

I like the gruff look of the Wolverine heads. I'm happy they made him as hairy as he was in the comics. I agree, it could have used a yelling head.

No that is not a version of Psylocke I want. Nor do I think it's one many have requested. No that would be the classic Psylocke and her suit from Outback X-men everyone wanted. Yet got this.

As it’s been said.. it should be a rule that Wolverine figures must at the very least come with a screaming/yelling head if a standard head is on the main figure. The fact that he doesn’t here.. or in other figures.. is reeeeeally dumb.

She was the star of the first X-Men comic I ever read, and it was not my jumping on point for collecting because it was so damn confusing for 9yr old me. I did not buy this combo because as armor, her suit/helmet always seemed metallic and the figure definitely reads as matte cloth. So it's a miss, and they aren't getting my money until it's a $19.99 set.

Only 2 pack that I could justify was the sabretooth one, just for sabretooth. The wolverine was average at best

Never heard of this version of Psylocke and I already have the first version of that Wolverine. Having no pins isn't enough of an upgrade. Nicer head sculpt but the first release was more comic-accurate. Easy pass.

I actually wanted both. That Wolverine comic was one of the first I started to collect on my own. My mom started me on Amazing Spider-man. And I really Wanted that Psylocke as well as I collected Uncanny X-men as well. Waiting for her Outback armor one though.

Wtf ia wrong with Wolverine's shoulders? Theyre tiny and super low. Lower than most marvel legends.

That body is made with the shoulder pads from the yellow suit in mind. So when they reuse it for a Wolverine that has no shoulder pads, his shoulders always look too small.

I like the Wolvie head sculpts, but yes a yelling angry one is needed. The body is just...so what. Nothing exciting. Psylocke looks interesting, but needs a ball joint at the waist. Her arms and legs do look scrawny to me. The head sculpts look good. The stuff plastic overlays kill it.

I didn't pick this one up because I don't really think this costume is good.. and thankfully it was only used for a very short time in the 80s. The Psylocke.. don't need that at all. I MIGHT have been tempted if it was the normal 90s Psylocke look, but this? meh. I disagree with your critique about the too "realistic" faces. They aren't too realistic for the body. I honestly don't get that. Did you want less muscle to match the face or something? My problem with the face is they didn't have the weird net like eye mask he used back in those days. I don't like it... and think this entire 2 pack is a waste, but yeah. Honestly for a 2 pack, I would rather they give us either an Ultimate X-Men/Ultimate Sabretooth pack or a maybe a New X-Men Wolverine with some other version of a New X-men.. character... I don't really care who, but I want a new version Ultimate X-men and New X-Men wolverine. lol
