This figure looks spot on interms of faceplate, but the scale is too short, if you stand it with other SHF figures, Bruce is around 5 foot 8.

Far as these non-character real people go, it depends on how much character they actually possess; are they interesting, have they done anything exceptional, yadda yadda. I wouldn't mind getting a figure of Freddie Mercury, for example, just because he was so larger than life, a once-in-a-generation-class talent that changed the game. The man practically was a character despite not being in character. In that sense, it's no different from collecting busts/statues of historical figures to inspire oneself with reminders of the shining examples of the human species - although I am still way, way more likely to just spend money on King Kong or whatever.

Still by far the Best Bruce Lee figure in several scales except 1/6. The absolute worst part about it though is that its basically impossible to fix any loose joints because of the system SHF has used.

I don’t look at it as just a Bruce Lee figure, but a Lee figure from Enter the Dragon, where he fights the Sheriff from Nightmare on Elm Street. That being said, Bandai Figuarts does a lot of one off celebrities, musicians in particular like Daft Punk, Freddie Mercury, Jamiroquai, etc.

I only have a few figures of real people, mostly MCU characters. They just don't fit in with the rest of my collection which is mostly superheroes and military stuff. For example, I'm a pro wrestling fan, but I only have three WWE figures. My "world" just isn't built for them. It looks kind of weird having Roman Reigns in the same scene as Spider Man and a guy in tactical gear with an AK-47.

Pass! Not good enough for one of my childhood heroes I grew up with in the 70s! The figure should be taller and his arms, torso & arms should have more of his slender but MUSCULAR upper body! Bruce Lee was physical specimen, along with his obvious mastering of Martial Arts. The man was a damn LEGEND, and Bandi has dishonored his true fans with this poor rendition in my OG Collector opinion brother Anthony.

I'll stick with the JADA Fei Long figure. I used to collect figures based on real people when I was a child. I had the bone crunching action WWF Attitude action figures. Last round of real figures was the full Guardians of the Galaxy Marvel Legends figures. I loved that movie. After that I was done.

I'll be the bad guy here.... I think this looks like crap. The only good thing about this is the head sculpts. I'd go with Fei Long for a body and custom a Bruce head or something. The ab cut and elbow joints are bad looking and can't be ignored.

@@BSmiTh79 Bro Super 7 Bruce Lee is not the way to go I promise you. Their "final product may vary" they wrote in fine print definitely held up to that. The prototype video they did on their KZbin channel looked exceptional, but the real release they didn't do his face justice at all. This figure despite it's outdated flaws to me is much better.

I was actually looking at possibly getting this, now it's a big "NO". Bruce Lee can't do splits or raise his arms past a T pose? Even back when this came out, its unacceptable, this is Bruce lee, he has butterfly joints but can't bend or kick. As far as real people, I only collect sports, music figs, I have some LOTR and a few movie ones, like the Crow, Scream etc. I haven't had the desire to collect any MTU or DCU. I would like to get some Rocky movie figs and a few WWE/F figs like, Andre the Giant, Big Show, British Bulldogs, JYD, but I'm not ready to go down that rabbit hole just yet.
