Since Hasbro is doing plastic free packaging, I think it would be a good idea for them to make their packaging into a diorama. Kind of like a build a figure, a build a diorama based on the wave. Street views, X Mansion, skyscraper...whatever.

I think the top 5 are all worthy addtions, and personally I really liked the Sinister too. Jean & Mystique are the week links in the line. Hopefully they'll get around to a second wave because Gambit, Rogue, Beast, Prof X & Magneto at least are needed to finish this line out. So far I'm not sold on the Spider-Man line but if they do Aunt May, A Yellow jumper MJ & Madame Web they can drawn me in.

Had to wait for black Friday to get Mr. Sinister . Still waiting for HP to ship my Cyclops to complete the wave. Do you think they will do a wave per season release or story line? Days of future past, Phoenix Saga, Savage land. Getting excited just thinking about it

It really ticked me off that they said this will be out on hiatus until a further date. I was enjoying the hell out of these albeit being mostly a cash grab but just for the VHS boxes I was all in.

1) Cyclops - new body mold. 2) Wolverine - best head sculpt. 3) Storm - second best head sculpt. 4) Morph - worst head sculpts. 5) Mystique- baby Kurt & head sculpt are pluses. 6) Mr. Sinister - like the paint apps. 7) Jubilee - just boring. 8) Jean Grey - even more boring.

Evil morph is good, Storm hair is just a piece of plastic. Jean Grey has bad head painting

@@jeanguimaraes5527 but we finally got an unpowered Storm head sculpt, and the hair sculpt is better than the others. Morph would be #1 if the head sculpts weren’t off…they’re not bad, but they didn’t hit the bullseye on them.

Cyclops would be my number one if he had an optic blast effect with an extra head sculpt. It sucks because Hasbro is notorious for reuse and they have the sculpts and moulds to add those extra accessories to Mr. Summers lol.

I understand that Morph is new and must have for this line--but that Cyclops is incredible. I also personally really like Sinister, who looks more 80s comic accurate to me than the previous release.

I think Morph automatically has to be number one. Cyclops #2. Wolverine and Storm duke it out for #3. Old bodies that have already had superior ones revealed but I think handle the paint apps better than everyone else. The female figures are let down by the chosen single elbow body. The weakness of this line is I just don't think the cell shading adds anything to the figures. They don't look like animated characters in toy form. NECA has executed that to near perfection with the TMNT line. The faces and proportions don't match their animated counterparts like say the What If line has done. The lack of accessories really hurts with the inflated price tag. It's good for folks who missed the previous releases. I think the VHS box gimmick could have been handled better and the cell shading just shouldn't have been a thing if this is the best they could do. In all seriousness........Jean Grey is not a good character. The only time she was relevant on her own was as Phoenix. She doesn't even have a real code name otherwise. If anything Phoenix should have been in the animated lineup before Jean. But I think missing characters is a result of them showing being exclusive/available at the moment. Beast, Rogue, Gambit, Dark Phoenix, and the last Apocalypse are close to the animated look. I can see why they put a pause at the moment. Or the VHS line + the Retro line go together.

I think we’ll see this line again because the hasbro team favors the X-men over anything else. I agree with every ranking on this video. Some hits and some misses. When the hasbro team decides if they want to get back on this line, I’d like to see animated versions of Phoenix in green/red suits, magneto, professor x, beast, gambit, rogue, bishop, banshee, Colossus and Juggernaut.

I haven’t received cyclops yet but he’s looking great so he’ll probably be in top 3. Wolverine and Storm would be in there too. Morph’s poor normal headsculpt let’s him down for me. I display him as the evil morph

I had almost the same except I switched Jubilee as #4 and Storm as #5. All females should have been penless and the promo pictures showing them as pinless is proof that it was supposed to be that way. Hasbro decided to go the cheap route while keeping prices high. No wonder Hasbro loss so much this year.

Haven’t got my hands on cyclops yet because he hasn’t been released in North America. However, I am definitely looking forward to getting him in hands. I am disappointed they never gave cyclops any blast effects and an extra head. Despite not having in hand, that would have definitely made him my number one. My top three however are: 1. Wolverine 2. Morph/Cyclops 3. Storm
