That’s why the body is not accurate. Hasbro being Hasbro reuse the same body a million times to increase profit at the expense of the collectors enjoyment. I have most of the characters I need. I won’t give Hasbro anybody for lazy and cost cutting effort.

Except that one had the popped open collar and zipper with the mold seam line going down the front of the neck like some weird unnecessarily invasive surgery scar.

Going to wait for this to drop below 1/2 price, as I do like the head sculpt. I'll probably try to upgrade the body as well. In other words, the standard process for buying ML- wait for an extreme price drop and fix/upgrade the figure.

This is a 100% copy of the deadly origin Black Widow with the white suit, even the guns are the same. The only thing new is the head and the harness.

They should have included an unmasked head sculpt. At some point in the not so distant future there will be no accessories packed in with Legends. It is an observable trend.This figure has more than I've seen recently. But it's not a normal occurrence with current Legends preorders and reveals.

Three guns (one being lazy admittedly), blast effects, smoking effects, and alternate hands. That seems like a good amount of accessories (quality aside), moreso than many other Legends figures. I think the 8 is fair, but what else do you think should have been added for a character like this? I guess an extra head (unmasked?) wouldn't hurt.

You know what Anthony, I think I'm just about HAD it with you! With your endless bashing of these ML figures by saying they look like cosplayers instead of actual comic book characters. Many MANY cosplayers put in the effort to get their physiques as close to the comic characters they're portraying as humanly possible, then use a whole bunch of tricks with costumes to make themselves appear even more comic-accurate. These figures look like those kids Halloween costumes with the drawn-on/foam-padding muscles, with kids proportions to match.

Maybe getting it in hand will change my mind but to me she's a 7/10, which is basically the threshold for "do I want this beyond the baf or for fodder" but it's also under the full price threshold. I like the character design and the accessories, I'm not upset that it's a reuse buck but geez Hasbro if everything is already made and you're stuck with it, at least do the best you can with you got. I can accept the belt color looks like the picture, but the comic belt has some contrast and line work. A wash at the very least. And I don't see why the guns are like they are when the GI Joe figures have separate silencers, it's the same peg size and the blasts.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that this is supposed to be the Dark Reign era Thunderbolts version of Yelena Belova. Which would mean that it's not even her, it's Natasha Romanoff in disguise. (Spoiler alert for a decade plus old comic, I guess) Maybe they used the same costume for her before or after, but to me, that's Natasha.

Don't remember the exact comic but no, this isn't Thunderbolts Nat. This was I think I think I thiiiink it was secret Avengers? Yelena, basically Norman Osborn takes her out of his cryo freeze and sic's her on Nat. It's after Thunderbolts Nat.

The entire body is reuse from the White Widow/Deadly Origins Target (?) exclusive figure from a few years back, except for the upper torso, which is modified from that same figure, who had a fleshpiece neck insert and popped collars, which they just sculpted over.

Hasbro and Disney are family oriented companies so sadly they will do everything to downplay even slight sex appeal of female figures that’s why Moonstone chest got replaced and why we don’t get same type chest sculpt as we used to with two pack Black Widow and Wolverine wave Emma Frost and instead we get Black costume Emma with chest that doesn’t even look human.

Not bad, the belt and holster definitely looks cheap. Should have had a dark brown wash like you said. Don't like it when a figure is half pinless and half Pins. By now all marvel legends should be pinless. Especially given the price point. If this figure drops to half off I'll consider getting it.

Head looks great. Props whenever they do multiple plastics for the face rather than just painting it. But easy pass for this old body. Maybe on deep clearance to swap onto a better body down the road.

Q of the Day: I’m completely unfamiliar with this version of Yelena, but then I haven’t actively read comics in 20 years. To me, this is just Hasbro picking a version of a character that they could make without a lot of extra tooling. Legends walks like a dying line, but quacks like a successful line, so I don’t know which one it is at this point.

I just like Florence Pugh. She was the only redeeming part of the Hawkeye show and the Black Widow movie. Neve heard of the character otherwise. The top of the torso really needs to be sculpted like the Rogue figure. Having half a ribcage as a joint looks ridiculous.

I have a feeling this figure's here simply for cost saving, hence the all-black outfit. Common trick for a wave with a lot going on (Ultimate Capt. America) since it's a cheap space filler. Could've at least gave us the new arms. Why make them if you're not even bothered to use them half the time?

Its kinda annoying how they sculpt the upper torso of these female figures as if they are a soccer mom wearing a track jacket with a sports bra underneath, when they’re supposed to look like a super model with a perky pair, with a skin tight leather suit on. It’s the main reason why these figures end up looking like cosplay, even the upcoming Black Widow that was shown off during the hasbro pulse live stream falls victim to this. It is as if they think sexiness is bad or something. I miss tue sculpts like they gave us with the black widow and winter soldier two pack. Or the green goblin wave Black Cat

Damn I had high hopes for this figure. What a let down. I’m also really tired of all this gummy plastic bs. Figure’s shouldn’t be able to bend everywhere but the joint.
