Sometimes it can be great seeing evenly matched characters take part in a knock-down, drag-out fight. But there are some superheroes who are just way too powerful for even their friends to stand against. Does a human like Clint Barton really stand a chance against someone like Professor X? And even though Loki is one of the most beloved characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, could he really take down Doctor Strange? Today we’re going to be talking about maybe not the best fights, but the ones involving some of the weakest characters and those who would be perfectly suited to defeat them. Black Widow wouldn’t stand a chance against Captain Marvel, and even though he’s the new Captain America we just can’t see Sam Wilson taking down the Incredible Hulk. Star Lord leads the Guardians of the Galaxy but he wouldn’t last five minutes in a fight against the Scarlet Witch. Thor the God of Thunder is a cheerful guy, but if he goes all out there’s no way he would be beaten by someone like Ant Man.

War Machine...though I guess this hasn't been depicted very well in the movies...has strength on par with Iron Man...who's strength is much higher than Spider-man's, though not Thor's or Hulks. Technically, I think War Machine could do some kind of area attack that Panther couldn't dodge, knock him off his feet, grab him, remove his mask/helmet, and just beat the shit out of his unprotected face. Yes, T'Challa's claws will do a number to War Machine's armored gauntlet that's holding him, but not enough before War Machine ends it. Black Panther has always been, IMO, one of Marvel's most over rated characters (with the most over rated spot belonged to Carol Danvers).

But you gotta make your match up's MUCH more interesting. The two opponents must have SOME similarities to really be engaging. I knew you were going to do that, that's why I said something. Superman does not mean that DC Characters are too over powered, it just means that Superman is, and only when cryptonite isn't used on him. What about Batman, Robin, Batman Beyond, Space Ghost (Which has been incorporated and adopted from Hannah Barbera by DC Comics). I could easily say Marvel characters are much more over powered than DC Characters in general.

Well I could argue the Human Torch and Namor is a bit of a coin flip. It really depends on where that fight starts and ends as well as how hot Johnny Storm is keeping himself. Going supernova may not be affected by being underwater because he is burning hotter than our own sun.

I agree but it doesn’t matter where it starts or ends it all depends on what the human torch can actually handle if man’s can go supernova move around at his usual speed of light speed and dish out actual attacks in that form within 20 seconds Namur would get melted off his bones other then tht yeah if he can’t reach sun tempo or near the temperature it would take to evaporate a whole lake in one blow then Namor wins anything lower then that by the ocean and Namor will literally drowned him in water

And like it was stated namor is not human he’s well beyond the peak human physical condition I don’t know his actual states but peak human physical condition for weight lifting is being able to bench your body weight or something like that Namor swims so fast he can dodge torpedoes the amount of force he has to except is well beyond that not only that I wouldn’t doubt he throws blows with sharks and can drag a whale in the ocean the amount of strength it takes to do that is incredible because the whale instantly becomes heavier and harder to move under water making him have tok excerpt more force to sum it up if it’s a power draw (one shoots a beam full of fire and the other of water and they stay dead middle as they both struggle or they both can excert the same amount of heat as one can water) then blow for blow human tourch gets blown out the park (after a long long battle let’s not forget mf got thrown from space onto sand (which from that high up would feel like landing on bricks) and basically walked it off

Black Widow actually has super powers (kind of). Although not mentioned in MCU (yet), she was experimented on like Captain America and Winter Solder. It explains how she can do the things she does, like jump up and grab a Chitauri speeder w/o having her arm ripped off. not that it would matter much in this match up anyway, but....

War Machine vs Black Panther. Remember Black Panther's suit is Vibranium not Adamantium. Vibranium absorbs energy and returns it, and it is one of the toughest metals that there is --- but War Machine has Armour piercing ordinances, weapons that are made to penetrate Armour -- which would include Vibranium. Black Panther has a few remote type weapons but relies mostly on his claws and close in fighting. I would thing War Machine's Armour would last long enough to deliver a few score rounds of Armour piercing shots.
