Yes! One of my biggest pet peeves about Star Wars is that they ALWAYS tie everything back to the Skywalkers, it's why Andor rules sm bc it's so disconnected and narrative driven

I just rewatched Werewolf by Night today and my first thought after it ended was that I needed a Midnight Suns film with Jack, Ted and Elsa, and also Wong, Moon Knight, Scarlet Scarab, Robbie Reyes, Nico Minoru and, heck, even Jennifer Kale from Agatha All Along if she survives. I then watched your Young Avengers video and then hopped on to this one, and THIS IS ALL I EVER NEEDED. YES. THE MCU REALLY NEEDS THE MIDNIGHT SUNS AND THE YOUNG AVENGERS. Really well done! I highly agree that this could be exactly what the MCU needs right now. I also think Kit Harrington's Black Knight would be a great addition to the team since he and Blade have met and he's been on the team in the comics as well, would be a cool way to build his character up since we've only seen him in Eternals. Really looking forward to seeing them finally introduced!

My one change would be the inclusion of the Punisher. His relationship with Moon Knight in the comics is one of my favorites. Yes, as the video stated, he's never been on the team, but that's a plus for me.

I agree with almost everything you said, but I think the roster could be more open to other characters. I think the ones you listed are no brained and almost certainly going to be on the team in either the first or second film in the midnight sons run. That said, I think that other characters could be involved that would fit the team’s atmosphere while not necessarily being supernatural monsters. The big ones that jump to my mind, assuming this is post Secret Wars and possible soft reboot, would be Deadpool and Wolverine. As long as they have the restraint to not make the movie focus on either of them as the “lead,” their darker, more gritty nature could lend really well for a darker, more gritty horror film. If Wade isn’t the lead, I don’t imagine the film turning into a joke-a-thon, especially if they pick up the first two films more emotional beats for Wade. Additionally, if the film has its action take place near Hell’s Kitchen, the defenders would fit right into the story, particularly Daredevil, Iron Fist, and, yes, the Punisher. They help sell the insanity that is the mythological side spilling over, and Danny’s character also works in with the spiritual elements. This brings me to Shang Chi, who I think is less likely to be used but could fit in with the magical, supernatural world he comes from. His sequel is currently looking to involve Iron Fist as is, which helps sell that even more! The final characters that could work would be two previous Avengers, though I think both are unlikely. One is Strange, because, come on. But I think leaving him to the side to let Wong lead would be more fulfilling. The final is a member who has only joined a few times in the comics but has provided a heart and soul to the team, and that would be Spider Man, particularly adult Spider-Man with the strong convictions and maturity of that era of his character. Sadly, this has zero chances of ever happening because of Sony, but one can dream

They need to prioritize the Writing and get actually good Directors. They fumbled it with Jordan Peele but they still have an opportunity to get Big Directors to just do their own thing like what they did with James Gunn. Imagine if they got Denis Villeneuve or Christopher Nolan or David Lynch and give them the freedom to make good Superhero Films. They probably will never do that but I like to dream.

The MCU definitely needs the Jonny Blaze Ghost Rider in a Midnight Sons movie, make the Nicholas Cage movies canon, so no need to do another origin story, maybe put him into more of a mentor role for his half brother Danny Ketch, who has never been on screen (Norman Redus or Keanu Reeves please!)

You forgot about a few important characters: - Black Knight, Jon Snow in 'Eternals' meeting Blade in post-credits scene. - Shang Chi, already in touch with Wong and with the ten rings. - Iron Fist, he deserves a redemption after Netflix failed the character. I'd say they should use pre-established characters, so maybe bring Agatha or Mordo as a villain and a hint at Wanda still alive? A lot of potential.

No marvel needs to stop rushing and go back to basics. It took ten years for Thanos to be in a movie and it was a success. Then they rushed with kang and the issues that happened made it worse. Now they are rushing xmen vs avengers and focused on the originals that most people don't want to buy to watch. The midnight sun's is a good idea for a doctor strange movie or a spin off after that as a filler story to make it a bigger but they shouldn't just throw teams and if they did it probably would be a disney plus show.
