All I ask for him is a small movement speed buff or something equivalent. Maybe even adding a bit of speed to his shield ability would nice. On defense it feels like you’re walking for miles to get to the fight.

Play him like torb in OW, put turrets to guard backline or at nasty off angles where people can’t destroy it without commiting cooldowns

I think it's a solid ability but I do think it needs more movement so you can bubble for 3s or buff to 5s and move faster in that from to reposition yourself. That would make it so good for this hero. Because he lacks movement in general so I completely understand

See I didn’t get the bubble until I realized it’s strengths 1. If a melee is trying to back line you throw down any turrets you have and spear them to force aggro and then bubble. Whoever hopped on your ass now has to deal with 2-3 turrets(ideally place on opposite sides of each other so they can’t be killed at the same time) lighting them the fuck up while you’re totally invulnerable. 2. You can be healed in the bubble as long as your healer isn’t asleep you’ll get healed to full most of the time after doing it unless you’re really far away from everyone.

bro this char made the game fun for me because of the bubble, the invuln saves me from jeff and wanda on a regular basis, as well as moon night and a few other ults. one of my only issues with the game is when some of the ults feel like i cant do anything to stop them and i just die, but this bubble ability makes you so hard to kill all the time

The bubble is to be used for its invulnerability not so much its movement and saves you from abilities that can easily one shot you and it’s great self peel. If you get jumped you can place your turrets and stall in your bubble while you wait for people to respond. I think it just takes some getting used to with the kinda slow movement and longer cooldown.

Another thing you didn’t mention is you can place the spawn on walls as well. Really helps get angles on skirmishes

I just hope they slightly alter his alt to either make it charge faster or do a little more damage. Definitely not a bad ult but sometimes feels super underwhelming

Although his bubble is quite slow, ive found the height it gives you to be quite helpful for reaching platforms that you can use to snipe enemys with the tridents and the turrets

His damage is great imo but to me his major issue is mobility, he doesn't have any, I do think that if he had some sort of speed boost that'll help him a lot. Unlike The Punisher for example who also has defensive capabilities (and his grappling hook), Namor doesn't really have a very easy or at least fast way to get back to his teamates which does matter, that makes dying on Namor feel a lot worse than other dps options.

I feel like at mid range he is the easiest to land a hit with. The projectile size feels like a tree trunk... several times i got a HS that I felt I had no business landing. No wind up time too! And he gets value by not doing much. Keep peeking in and out from cover when you shoot. Shoot in a general direction. 2 turets shoudl always be close to you to discourage flankers and you have a get out of jail free button. Great cooldown times too.

Namor has always been my favorite superhero ever since i was 8.. grew up collecting his comic books in the early 90s and still have them to this day.. i you can imagine how happy ive been in the last couple of yrs since black panther, hes actually getting some love now

@@precise213 black Panther for the most part was good, there are some things that I didn't like or didn't fit with the comics. 1st and foremost there is no way Black Panther beats Namor in a fight, though it's possible that he was out of water that made him so weak but also in the movie they made him almost powerless outside of the water or if he's out of the water for a short period of time he was useless... I can be a bit bias but in the comics Namor controls the ocean, there are little actual heros that can fight and beat Namor. Namor actually competes with Hulk, wolverine, Thanos and all of the fantastic 4, and he either wins those or has very close losses. He is a solo hero meaning he doesn't have an alliance per say so that was accurate, tho sometimes he is an avenger or appears in a lot of fantastic 4 comics, which fits in with him being in the new fantastic 4 movie. (Hint, he has a thing for Mrs fantastic) Overall I think it was good, could have used some more tweaks to make him more complete The Hispanic twist was a nice addition... Namor the sub mariner is actually a savage in the comics haha they tamed him a bit

Basically a weaker version of hella with sentries. The hit isn’t as good but it’s pretty sneaky, if used correctly it’s just as effective. I think people should learn his kit and stop picking Spider-Man. It takes a lot just to get value out of him whereas some like manor or hela can get value cuz they 3 or 4 shot heroes as long as you have aim

Turrets are not only good for distraction and flanking but great damage,if your enemy is stupid good and you need a distrat to catch off guard shoot a octo out of cover into the enemy geoup and eun away,let them look for tou while the team mobs them.

Been Namor main since day one. He’s an absolute JOKE. 1k+ kills with him in around 40 games including a 57 kill ranked game with 20k+ dmg. Very very slept on character.

Don't see it in the comments but if you find yourself in melee range you can weave basic melee attacks in between spear throws for some extra damage. You can apply this to almost any character though! thanks for the great video.

I use Namor as a crutch only because I find him less enjoyable then some of the more skill expressive characters. He’s good he is but playing someone like Spider-Man feels like I’m doing more when I’m doing good compared to simply letting turrets do my job.

i wouldn't put him at S tier, low end of A maybe high B, he's really good against melee characters, but range will just eat his turrets before they have a chance to do anything, and they're not very hard to notice especially with how loud they are.

No man bait cooldowns; place turrets, aggro the target and immune and the melee character is screwed. I play a lot of Namor and consistently shit on melee characters.

I kind of feel like he's a counterplay for sneaky melee because everyone will know you arrive with octopus warning Put octo on wall, usually melee can't deal on-wall octopus easily, land a shot on the melee then go immune, you have ~75% chance to win the fight, but maybe not to the wolverine

I say give it some time. He will be atleast A tier. Flanks can’t drop on him if he’s paying attention. Has auto locking turrets for quick burst. Anything in the sky dies to him. And his bubble gives him invincibility and he can be full healed in it. Take high ground, and use it to get away in some instances. He does decent damage and his ult isn’t bad.
