@@tn_mateo5974 yes tried him and I didn’t do well. But also could have been my team partly. I play with randoms and I usually play rocket becuase nobody plays support roles or if they do they aren’t actually doing the role. They out there trying to rack up kills with Rocket instead of focusing on healing the Tanks/DPS who are pushing. So I have to default to that role. End up with like 2 kills but 35 assists.kinda boring with how easy Rocket is to play with though.

Yep. Iron Fist can activate one ability and then kill a non-tank character in less than a second. Black Panther takes so much more work to do less.

Tried rivals for the first time today and tried to main BP and you are right, if the enemy team has burst healers it is nearly impossible to kill anyone even if you catch them off guard. I think the best strategy is to use him as a distraction so your team can get a pick. Also what i did was once i flank but fail i try to make one of their teammates chase me even further back and spam the combo killing them once my abilities are off cooldown. Definitely a high ceiling character with cool strats

Me personally. I feel his suit glowing should be based on dmg yes… but if I remember correctly. His suit collected kenetic energy and blew up which would be a lot more useful being a nuisance and separating teammates.

Not only this, but if you go into practice range against the lil robots, they take 8 hits!!! He 100% needs more damage to make him more playable compared to Wolverine and iron fist who do exactly what he does, but better.

​@Vucero Wolverine and Iron Fist both have less mobility, and are basically sitting ducks for most characters. Their damage doesn't matter considering a lot of backline characters have a dash or can outrun them (if Fist and Wolvie wasted dash to engage). Black Panther doesn't have that issue, because he's not meant to be played like that.

I think 2 buffs that would be good for black panther would be these. 1. Base damage buff, passive ability dmg lowered / kept the same. His base damage is so low that he's a much less viable melee character and its extremely hard to get kills as most of the time they will be very low hp or just avoid your dash with an Iframe move. To counter this, his base m1 damage should be increased moderately and his dash should get a SLIGHT damage buff. 2. Ult buff I'm not sure if this is just me, but his ult is extremely underwhelming. It does very little damage, and most of the time you just die during the animation or right after against decent or better players. To combat this, he should receive a damage reduction in the animation (or shield), and for every enemy hit by his ult he should gain X amount of shield. Another way I thought his ult could be buffed would be to spawn on top of the panther so he's harder to hit and gains some good distance for dashing. His passive of "low hp = more damage" could also be activated after the ult even if his hp is high. Personally, I think one or both of these buffs would be great as a panther main

@thelurker4773 I disagree with lower cool down, but the other two are absolutely necessary. It makes no sense for someone like black panther who's extremely athletic to not be able to double jump without running on a wall and only being able to go straight up makes it almost useless.

Hes very fun, but its hard to catch someone out fast enough to kill them, i think if he could animation cancel from e into shift hed be much better as a burst assassin. The main way to play him well is to not dash through multiple marks in one shift, if he can still shift through marks during his right click and e cooldowns its better for his survivability

I agree! I wonder if they buff his passive to compensate or rework it. Like the more dashes landed, your base damage increases for a set time to make it possible to eliminate a player that is receiving major heals from a support. 100% agree on hitting one mark at a time with each dash to keep the dashing going nonstop!

Maybe if spin kick gave overhealth and probably had 2 charges on his base dash I like him i kinda feel his playstyle but sometimes hus dash just doesn't hit an your sol if that happens​@BloodThirstyLord

Thank you so much for explaining how the dash reset works, it was driving me crazy 😂 I couldn’t understand it from the “hero abilities” menu when you’re in a match, and forgot they have video examples of all heroes in the main menu. VERY excited to try him out again now I know how he works 😂

If I am not mistaken, Iron Fist has a higher difficulty rating and he's easier to play and easier to get kills with than Black Panther. I honestly don't get the rating system sometimes. Was he nerfed since Alpha and closed beta?
