What every hero should be is unique viable and true to what they're based off of cause you do not want a situation in like early overwatch where a hero is just not viable and not good no matter how much you pump up the stats like symmetra and torb

I mean he brings a parry mechanic, wall running, triple jump, knockback, and self-sustain. Lots that's different from Black Panther

1:15 the points of showing that is they want to show you his passif Abillites which is wall run and everytime he kill enemies he got bonus health. ( health bar with Blue colour ) 🤓

3:10 what he brings is a more beefy option and more pushing power to move forward the only thing thats odd about his kit is his heal. Rn the devs should focus on him being a dps that can chip away quickly in the frontlines but can tank enough until the tanks can maybe capitalize on what he chipped

2:35 he can block projectiles all the time not just in his ult all the time It is just that it is tied to a cool down that is 12 seconds long however it seems that if you Perry and then immediately press it again there is no cool down so as long as you keep carrying the cooldown is like not existent however once you stop parrying the cooldown is 12 seconds except for in his ult where the cooldown is 3 seconds

As someone who played the beta he is a lot different to the other melee characters and will definitely work. He has good movement as he has a quadruple jump that resets as soon as he lands as well as a wall run to close the distance. On top of this his first attack for his melee launches himself at the enemy which no melee character has making it much easier to close the distance on top of this his deflect helps grant him overhealth so he doesnt die before reaching his target. The enemies being low health doesnt mean much in other trailers it was the same he'll realistically do pretty good damage since all characters do they just wanted to show quick kills because it looks cool for the trailer. His kick is more off a "im about to die i need to leave move" rather then to get kills and is there to get enemies away from him so he can retreat. His ult also doesnt get him to 500 health thats his passive giving him overhealth he can get too 500 even without his ult if he gets enough kills quickly. He seems to play much differently from black panther and the other melee characters as black panther is heavily abilitiy focused and if any of his abilities are on cooldown hes essentially dead or will loose the fight whereas iron fist clearly has good movement options that dont require a cooldown as well as good primary attack damage. He plays much different to spiderman since hes much slower and has no range and he plays different to magik as hes much quicker and manoeuvrable then her.

Looking again at the HP of Iron Fist he does seem to be more on the tanky side of HP which might be his saving grace since from the video he lacks fast movement...

at the beggining he has just 250 hp after dealing damage he has 500 hp, I think the more damage he does, the more hp he gets

Honestly i disagree i think melee dps are gonna be good regardless (well unless they legit make a bad character that can happen) but i think theyll be good like it just takes that one player that one player to isntanly fall in love with that characters gameplay and showcase why there underrated broken or good

Iron Fist seems more like a brawler like Magik than a flanker.

Yeah the trailer doesn't do him justice, he lives and dies by his "parry" as it stops attacks and cc, but it also activates his alternate attack combo and it is the real mincer, plus it shortens the cooldown. But it might just be my favourites coming into play, played way too much Spiderman in the beta.
