One other thing to note about why that portal at 11:43 is incredible is because it also acts as a "wall". The enemy can't go through it and they also can't shoot through it, which forces them into a confined space, while blocking projectiles that the enemy would have been shooting

Another cool tip with Dr. strange is his ammo count when reloading actually fills up a little after half way through the animation. So you can cancel at that moment into shield really quick, allowing you to shoot quicker than finishing the whole animation. Not sure if that’s intended (feels kinda redundant to have the rest of the animation if you can just cancel earlier) but may as well use it lol

Dr strange cancelling his portal still counts as using it. He used it to get back after its cooldown. Not because he still had it from cancelling it. He cancelled it so that the other team wouldn’t know whether he still had portal or not.

I do wonder how much the hulk team up went into the aggressive plays since I honestly can't tell how much it enhances strange's aoe. The only thing I think is extensively complex about this is the prediction and quick decision making (shield canceling or whip cancelling, flight to escape/pressure fliers, when and why to portal) but obviously the easiest to screw up is the portal since you need good map knowledge and it's quite easy to mess it up from the stress of doing it quickly and since if you do not left click to reposition the entrance you could instead give you enemy team a direct portal from their spawn to you.

Situational awareness is key, he knows when to be greedy and push and when not to. If your supports die to a black panther you can't overextend and blame no healing. This is what I see a lot of tanks do. Either that or they do not push when team has advantage. You are always gonna have some bad and some good teammates all you can do is try to play accordingly. Can't win everything.

Playing objective means being in a position to advance that goal, whether it's pushing capture of the point, maintaining control of it, moving the payload, or preventing the payload from moving. You can have ten times the eliminations and an eighth of the deaths of your opponents, but if you're on attack and don't have someone in range of the payload when the timer runs out, it was all for nothing.

Although the individual skill of this strange player is really impressive, Honestly the biggest take away from this match isn't some crazy tech or exploit. It's that Marvel Rivals is a team game and playing as a team/ WITH your team is the single greatest and most sure-fire way to find success in every match.

It looks crazy that he’s esentially just doing his job, but to climb you have to be landing big ults and have E stacked Becsuse your team isn’t going to follow up. Also you can’t play aggressive because you aren’t going to get pocketed like he is

I wish they did something different with his portal. I just don't like how it's used now. I wish it was more like placing a loki clone and it had way less cool down. I'd trade that for way less health on his shield. The problem is he's really good so he won't get any buffs, but I don't think it has anything to do with portal

Strange being able to not have a type of Fog of War when using his portal is one of the most broken things in this game and it needs to be taken out. He shouldn't be able to see the enemy team when using portal.

@@iroam5397that’s not true, hulk is way more of a problem then strange especially with a iron man hulk def over strange. Strange isn’t as strong with out hulk but he’s very good, but busted with him. Hulk is just better for his team up with iron that makes him strong but his team up with strange is really strong too
