Literally I'm a Spiderman fan but I would rather more characters like Jeff the landshark get introduced, I would love to see Gwenpool, Deadpool etc. (Also if it is a Spiderman character but I think if the 4th Spiderman character added is spider ham it would be the funniest shit ever)

Tbh, that’s just not how popularity works. If they’re going to make a ton of money/new players from miles fans who liked the movies, then releasing Miles is simply a smart marketing move.

As much as I love Spider-man and all his lore. The way characters like spider-gwen and 2099 should be added is as skins for him. Maybe they be legendary level skins and when another character talks to them they talk to them as 2099 and gwen. Not the same voicelines for peter. Same idea with Iron Heart and Iron Man, She-hulk and Hulk. And maybe Carnage and Venom. But for the Carnage one I think he should get his own character.

And Carnage and venom fight completely different. One, carnage has alway been slimmer than venmon, 2 carnage fights differently. Based off his character and fighting style he should definitely be a dps. The examples I gave juss happened to be opposite genders.

They should add a Spider-Woman or Silk, then make so that every relevant female Spider character becomes a skin for Spider-Woman and every revelant male Spider character becomes a skin for Spider-Man. Most symbiotes outside Carnage can also be just a Venom (or Carnage) skin.

i think they should add Miles because i think he could have an interesting kit like keep the swinging because thats what a spider-man does but give him invisability as one ability,instead of the web right click of peter give him a venom sting that work like a one second stun and as a last unique ability give him a venom blast that does decent damage and knocks back enemys(kind of like doom fist).

While not exactly soon because they want to keep the balanced of character franchises, when he comes it won’t be as a skin but a separate character.

In any case Marvel Rivals has an awesome potential. The hero pool is almost infinite as the firm is still growing. So having everyone from the get go doesn't make sense. As the game grow, let's add new characters. For now, let's focus on having heroes everybody love such as Daredevil, Quicksilver, Jean Grey, maybe even Sentry

There’s 100s of characters to choose from, and nobodies more important really that’s all subjective but they don’t want copies of each other, frankly I think carnage will just be a skin too. No offense, but ur not very creative are you. “Spider-Man variant” doesn’t mean that they have to have the same abilities, play style, or role. 2099 literally cannot even shoot webs. He’s a vampire who relies on mostly tank like aggression who could easily fit a brawl lifesteal playstyle. Miles morales has enough abilities to have literally 0 overlap with Peter, but for authenticity it’s likely he should have web swinging, however that doesn’t make him the same. He can have less, and play a more brawl oriented playstyle with much less lethality, making him, who would have guessed, a whole other character! Even someone like Spider-Ham could be a more toonish support role playing majority off of his hammer as cc, various cartoon abilities to heal and cc, and play low damage support role with only one swing making him, oh look at that, another entirely different character! And if you’re worried about “too many spiders” there’s already 4 avengers, 5 guardians, 5 mutants with 4 more in the files, soon to be 4 fantastic 4 members, and many other heroes already with a huge number of characters from that franchise. It’s not Mutant Rivals either. As long as every spider character is different, there should be no issue with having any number of spider characters eventually, as long as they’re done with good timing, and with respect to the demands of characters in the game. They shouldn’t drop 3 new spiders next if the population is asking for Wolverine and Deadpool, the same way we shouldn’t see Juggernaut added to the game if the majority of people are asking for Green Goblin or something. Don’t say someone shouldn’t be in the game just because you lack the creativity to design a unique kit that makes them have an entirely different identity from every hero in the game.

Most Spider-verse heroes can be Spider-Man skins with different voice actors: Miles, Gwen, Ben, Miguel, Julia. The only one who really needs to be a separate character is Jessica because her power set is very different. Hell, even Carnage can just be a Venom skin. This is the way to include even more heroes without having to toil over unique kits. Polaris as Magneto. US Agent as Captain America. Firestar and Sunspot as Human Torch. She-Hulk as Hulk. Kate Bishop as Hawkeye. Yelena Belova as Black Widow. Jocasta as Ultron. Beta Ray Bill and Jane Foster as Thor. Moonstone as Captain Marvel. Ironheart and War Machine as Iron Man. The potential is massive. As long as they just give them new voice actors with relevant voice lines when the skin is meant to represent a different person, we will pay for this and lots.

But, I think Carnage and She-Hulk can be different enough to warrant a roster spot (mostly cause I don’t think She-Hulk would fit Hulk’s hitboxes lol) Also some more - Iron Patriot (Green Goblin in Iron Man’s suit) - Nomad (either for Cap or Punisher) - White Wolf (Black Panther) - Bucky / Punisher (skins for Captain America, when they took up the moniker)

I think skins is the obvious way to go, but, I think it would be extremely cool if they could have some skins that have different va's for them, like a spider-gwen legendary that has entirely new lines. I think there's precedent for this kind of thing, like how overwatch adds new special voice lines to their mythics. It would be very ambitious, but I'd definitely pay good money for it.

Depends on which Web Warrior we're talking about. Miles, Gwen, Silk and most others, sure, they can be skins (even though they technically have a different power set). But some like Jessica Drew and Spider-Ham are quite distinct from Peter in their skill sets and aren't generic Spiders and they should be allowed to get into the roster.

I think that in the case of Miles and Spider Gwen maybe they should make a hero, perhaps with different roles, for example Spider Gwen in MARVEL Super War she is a support, besides Miles has the same powers as Peter, but he has others powers, which the devs can explore, but otherwise it would be better if it were skins for the spider, like silk, even though I love the character

For example sure Miles might be a fighter too but he has a lot of versatility with his bio venom power, he has invisibility and more I get that the game could easily become over saturated with spider people so that my opinion on the matter. I honestly hope we get more variant characters like Peni Parker who is an alternate Spider person. Miles morales could be a support hero and you can utilize his bio-electricity,Maybe Sam Wilson captain America down the line who can fly and do falcon stuff but still utilize the shield. Or maybe if wolverine becomes a tank class, X-23 could be in the damage class, like an assassin type. Idk I just want to see more Variant characters in this game’s future

All they need to do is make a Miles spiderman costume and call it a day, sure Miles has some special powers but he is essentially another spiderman. For Spider-gwen or silk they could make them a special skin, add a voice pack and call it a premium skin and charge extra for it, problem solved. Other Marvel characters deserve time to shine, not just Spiderman variants

Peter Parker, Miles Morales, Gwen, and Miguel could be templates for skins. Peter and Gwen being DPS, Miguel being a Tank, and Miles being support. Gwen/Spiderwoman would need to be separate as they would be smaller.

The best solution would be to make skins adding a little trick. Some of those skins would have their own skills and abilities since some spidey characters are fundamentally different. Some also could be added in different classes.
