So in recap of the maps that will likely be added: Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda - with the different areas shown in the trailer New York - I think Sanctum Sanctorum, Avengers Towers, and Baxter building will be a combined capture the mission area map and then having Dracula's castle and the streets of New York maybe for a payload like what Squirrel Girl Mentioned or some other mode Klyntar - With the Guardians and Venom facing Knull. No idea what game mode it could be Collector's Amusement Park - Mentioned in Mantis' lore and I believe Jeff's Hydra Erebus Base - With Hive shown, this is likely to be an upcoming map Latveria & Doom 2099's castles: I honestly think they'll combine these two like the trailer showed having it be a capture the mission area showing inside the castles or have payload from one castle to the other. Krakoa - a dynamic, moving map that can maybe change as the game progresses Also i hope that if we play at the sanctum sanctorum, there's a door or portal that shows the dark dimension with like a vague figure of Dormmamu in the background.

I think Moon Knight, Morbius, and Blade will be released alongside the New York map as it makes sense for each character. Reed Richards is also mentioned a lot regarding New York so he could be added there or earlier because the devs said they'd release the Fantastic 4 at Gamescon

I am really hoping there is a story mode PVE thing going on. OW2 dropping the ball there was the biggest fumble in history. And I hope Marvel Rivals can at least make up for it seeing how they have plenty of options for PVE mobs. Vampires, Howling commandos, the doom bots, just a lot they can pull for a PVE style map.

My top picks would be Cloak/dagger, Moon Knight, maybe switching between Mr. Knight, Moon Knight, and Khonshu, Psylocke, some kind of Ghost Rider, and my odd one out pick, The Collector. I think taking inspiration from his variant in What If season 1, and having him use tools rebuilt and combined from variants of heroes and villains that he’s killed would be really awesome. He’d use a lot of moves from other fighters, and I think he’d be a really underrated villain pick.

Characters like Dracula, Knull, Hive and maybe Thanos, are most likely to be FIRST an Event Villain, on maybe Season Events with special modes where a random player is choosed to be this villain get's overpowered and the 6 heros team has to defeat him, then at the end of the season the story would progress and the villain would be added, I can totally a see a Vampire Hunting Event on New York Map to defeat Dracula and the Vampire King and Blade being added to the rooster after that event

Sad to say this, I love Ghost Rider, but I think he has like 5% chance of being playable (if not less)... damn shame, there's a couple of factors: first, the most idiotic one (I will not sugar coat), for whatever cultural reason the chinese government censors the imagery of skulls and skeletons, this game is being developed by chinese devs, so yeah. And second, Winter Soldier already has the hook gimmick, so it will be tough to justify Ghost Rider because he uses a chain + shotgun, basically the same archetype. Ghost Rider is infinitely more charismatic than Winter Soldier, but here we are. I will give some glimpse of hope/despair, NetEase developed a mobile moba game called "Marvel Super War" and Ghost Rider was playable in this game, skull imagery and all (but the game was discontinued, NetEase has a very bad reputation on this regard)

It's not like the Chinese "ESRB" straight up censor skulls, like a taboo or something... nope, they just interpret skulls as something "violent" for children, that alters the age rating, forcing entertainment projects to censor this kind of imagery to adjust (like western movies censoring blood to become PG-13). We are so used to see China as this crazy dictatorship, sometimes we misinterpret their actions. Ghost Rider will be a thing, if the government allowed Wukong to be sold with just the "mature" rating (instead of those more severe +21 and so on), they will take a blind eye for Marvel Rivals as well, these are the first triple A games from China, they promote their culture willing or now (Wukong more than ever)

Just to add onto Psylocke's section: On Miller Ross' Gamescom stream, he confirmed Psylocke is based on Sai from the Demon Days series. However her design is quite different. He commented it was much more urban ninja, reminiscent of "the world ends with you" game series. Spikey violet ponytail, black urban ninja garb and big red scarf. She uses a physical katana as well as psionic weaponry.

@Ironsmashweb, In the video you zoom in on those posters ingame with Spiderman 2099 at 02:42, however the poster just above it shows a flaming hero but if you look closley the bar and the white outline shows a motorcycle so could that be Ghost Rider? Also, I think Los'Diablos would be a great place to put Red Hulk as his powers are different than the normal Hulk's powers.

Red hulk would make sense and is 100% different enough from hulk it’d be cool if he had the same mechanic of transforming but instead of being health based it should be based on his ability usage of him overusing them and overheating
