Problem with that sort of an option is it can potentially screw over players whose teammates quit on them, because if too many people opt out of joining in-progress matches then you'll never get a replacement, and you're permanently down a teammate. I'd say instead, give players who match into an in-progress match and complete it a grace period where it can't happen again, still lets the system replace players fairly easily, and prevents something like that clip from happening
