My mission just never showed up. Still I haven’t played a Tachyon Rift. The purple logo shows update on the Utah Icon, but when I go to Utah there is no purple mission

Yeah others are having the same issues as well. What I’ve found from reddit is to try doing a back up save (settings in main menu), playing an Elite Heroic Hive, or playing a match on quick play (should be located at the bottom of your screen in the war table).

Most likely bugged for sure. I would say try and restart the game. If that doesn’t work, then go to your settings from the main menu and do a backup save. Hope this helps.

It should be in the Utah Badlands region. The symbol for it is like a portal looking figure that’s purple.

Luckily I found a reddit page where people are also having the same issues. I managed to pick up 2 solutions. 1.) Back up your save file in the main menu settings. | 2.) Complete Elite Heroic Hive. Hopefully one of these methods work.

Dang. I guess you can try going into a quick match (should be at the bottom of the war table where you see the regions) and play finish that. That was another thing I saw on reddit. Other than that the only options left is to complete the mission chains to get the elite hive unlocked. Hopefully this gets fixed in an upcoming update this week.

So once you do the first one you have to play with others? I tend to solo games so not sure if this is gonna work for me long term. Is there only the two mishes? I thought this would be a whole string like what shows up randomly on the war table for all the sectors and things.

Sadly yes it does involve having to play with others. I also play solo majority of the time unless I got friends on. The people that I’ve managed to play with during those two missions have been pretty decent so far. Nothing like trolling or stalling to continue on. There are only two other missions that are part of the tachyon rift missions after the first main one. I believe they also change those missions every week whenever the weekly refresh occurs every Thursday.

It should be in the main menu of the game like where you see campaign, avengers initiative, and settings. From settings go to the gameplay tab and backup saves should be there.

Yeah those missions are gonna require a high power level and if I recall they might be located in Utah Badlands and Pacific Northwest region maybe. I’m just stating that at the top of my head but Utah badlands for sure.

Hmm that’s weird. It should be letting you talk to Hill once you’re there. Maybe try resetting the game or using a back up save from the settings in the main menu.

Yeah so it should show you how recent one of the back up saves are. I know that if you keep playing for a while it will overwrite the first back up saves. I believe you might be able to go back to original by using the auto save after that but I’m not 100% on that.

That is a really good question. I mean if exotics are really dropping like this then I don’t see why not. You get decent gear by completing them so I think it’s really good.

Those missions will be unlocked once you start doing the mission chains that are available.

Your all good it doesn’t bother me at all! For the iconic mission chains they do require you to be a SPECIFIC hero. The rest of the chains can be done with any character you decide to play as.

I dunno about anyone else who prefers to play solo but having the 2nd Tachyon rift mission multiplayer only is a fucking joke have content which cannot be played solo is totally unfair in my opinion... not everyone plays online modes by signing up to xbox live/playstation network , i'm guessing theres no way to do the mission without online co-op
