This is how they should have handled Wanda in Multiverse of Madness. A major flaw with that film is how drastic her descent was and the way the others like Stephen pretended that the Darkhold’s grip on her meant there was no Wanda left. If you squint, Waldron presented two fights: the A story being Wanda vs America and the B story being Wanda vs the Darkhold but he cared so much about her being a violent villain that the B story got lost until she confronted her alternate self. In this game, we see Wanda taken over by Lilith but her friends still convinced she’s in there and fighting to free her. Multiverse of Madness could and should have done something similar with trying to free her from the Darkhold.

Actually there was no evil wanda in all the comic lore and live action and even animation and games, most is just an unstable woman who losses to her grief, just like a normal human have been. Her power is soo powerful she could think that "why not create my own happiness?" Like that and she could do it effortless it just that it will always be broken because in the end she will be the one to suffer from losses same with live action and comics. Only she could do is to forgive herself and free herself from her grief and she will become the most powerful magic user to whom ever exist.
