"Target an enemy. Damage them or random nearby enemies 4 times" that text is ultra-confusing. I've tried this missions about 10 times just to see if there's ANY randomness to that part. Nope. If you target one of the enemies on the edge, it's ONLY gonna damage each of them twice. There's no case in which one gets 3 and one gets 1, or one gets all 4 hits. Maybe "Split 4 hits between the target and up to 3 additional enemies" would've been more suitable?

I don’t get the redrawn blood magic card after using empower?

You don't use Empower. You have to discard it. It's presence is a red herring. Discarding it will get the Blood Magic card.

You have to get their friendship to level 5 for each challenge to unlock.

The starting cards you receive and the number of cards you start with are both random in this challenge...

Try restarting challenge until you get the the right card combinations ! It actually worked for me
