I would not be able to get through these without a guide. I know these are tactical games, so thinking about the best solution is kind of the whole point, but there's a reason I play on easier difficulties in these games. I am simply not capable of that much forward thinking. Thanks for the help.

Since we're sharing tips, I thought you'd like to know that you can save the use of the hero point (not that there's really a need to) by setting up the second Limbo portal to kick the enemy into the red. ley line. 😊

I remember using that technique at first, but I thought it fell just short of lethal damage but I'm not sure about that... too many of these challenges in too short a time and it's hard to keep them straight.

How can I get the challenges?

You need to build up your friendship level with whatever hero you want to do the challenge for. Bring them on missions with the hunter and do activities with them in the evening and that will help. You can also give them gifts (you can do a google search for a guide on which gifts will work best for each hero). It takes a little work but you can get there and some of the powers you get from these challenges are really good.
