Don’t forget the classic iron spider suit either,which they again,took their own spin on it. Alright, little correction here. The webshooters seem to now be permanently tied to R1 taps, rather than being their own separate gadget. The gadgets themselves are now tied to their own selection wheel, which you activate by holding down R1 then selecting the gadget from your personal 4 choices. In my opinion this is much better since now you don’t need to constantly used the gadget wheel to select and slow yourself down in the heat of battle. The gadgets themselves are on a cool-down timer, meaning you can’t spam them during combat anymore. They’ve definitely balanced their systems out since the last game.

It indeed solves a major complaint of taking people out of the game to select different gadgets. Mods already made it possible to bind gadgets on keys to prevent the breaking of the immersion. Imo a good design choice!

The symbiote looks so fire. One thing I noticed is that when slamming enemies on the ground or using the tendrils, symbiote residue is left behind on the point of impact. It'd be so awesome to have those residue pieces slowly making their way back to Peter to fill the suit back up again.

I think that the L1/R1 UI means that the weapon wheel is gone, and there's no more constant pausing to bring up the wheel. That'd mean way more action and fluidity to the fights.

The "Together" part is being consumed by the symbiote, leaving only "Be greater" (showing the self absorbed power hunger that the symbiote instills in Peter) before Miles electricity purifies the corruption. I think it's meant to symbolize that Miles will pull Peter back from going over the edge of darkness.

I think you forgot about the part that the reason the Lizard is that big is because he has shedded and grown bigger,and considering this looks like to be around the middle start of the game,we could potentially see him as his classic look and our first boss fight with him maybe. Then maybe right after this we get to be Peter and start actually fighting his new form. Of course this is speculation but I think it makes more sense.

Imagine it was the SYMBIOTE suit that Kraven steals, then it was the symbiote that causes him to kill himself. That would definitely fit the darker theme.

The detail and experience will be amazing and with the addition of the web wings and all the other stuff that was shown, it will be incredible to witness and experience. The symbiote suit just looks so menacing and I don't know if you know this but it's been about 13 years since the symbiote was featured in a game with it's abilities and not just a skin with no abilities added. I think the last game that featured the symbiote suit in all it's glory was Spider-Man: Edge of Time but Insomniac is cooking something special for us Spidey fans. Insomniac we trust.

They made Taskmaster being a clown in the first game. He is a big deal... especially, he could adapt to every Avengers move and fighting styles. I just wish that Taskmaster is also a big threat to Spider-Man since he is that powerful, maybe put him as a DLC main boss ? And Mysterio is one of my favourite villain in Spider-Man comics, you could say he is smart enough to mess around with Spider-Man. Hopefully they made a Mysterio as a main Boss, i don't want Mysterio being a side quest bosses.

When Peter charges in to destroy the aircraft and is hit with it's "defences" it's also worth pointing out that the rockets about to hit Peter before he uses the symbiote to protect himself or vice versa, Peter's Spidey sense did not trigger to warn him of the rockets coming

I still don't think you're understanding. There are new animations, plenty of them in fact. The reusing of animations from previous games makes sense for the story of the game. The way it looks when you glide and divebomb is the exact same in all 4 Arkham Games. The way the combat works is also extremely similar, it's just that they continue to expand upon and slowly build on an already working formula.

Imagine they give us a choice for the boss fight. Choose Peter: You control him and beat the crap out of Miles, after he sees what he's done he realizes that he's gone too far and goes to dispose of the symbiote. Choose Miles: You'll fight Peter and barely manage to get him back to his senses with the help of your powers and help him get rid of the symbiote. Both are alternate paths that would eventually lead into the same end goal. I think it would be nice for them to do that.

I have a theory as to why Peter sounds and act angry and why the symbiosis is taking over seemingly at the beginning. It could be that Peter is going through hard times more so than before at the beginning of the game and is now in a state of depression and despair and these two things could be used to easily manipulate his mind with the symbiosis

I know it's unlikely but it'd be cool if this version of Spidey gets to keep the symbiote. The reason was bc Spider-Man found the capsule with the symbiote inside, and thinking this was the device they were talking about, released the symbiote. The alien wrapped itself around Peter Parker's body and gave him a black suit. Parker brought the symbiote back to Earth after Secret Wars, but the symbiote started to affect him.

a detail that no one has seen so far, at 1 min 24 sec and at 3 min 27 sec of the trailer you can see how apart from the dodge mechanic there will be a "counter attack" option that will be marked with the spider sense

I just noticed but the L1 weapon wheel for Miles has 2 colours yellow and blue and from the last moments of the gameplay we see Miles charge the robo bird Ganke was controlling so he still has yellow electricity I wonder if the 2 colours have different applications like the yellow are counter abilities and blue combat since we never saw him use the yellow ones
