I'm excited for the Arachknight suit simply because it's existence in the game means Insomniac is willing to branch out and do suits that require extra animations/physics that the first two games' suits didn't have. Like how Spider-Man 2099 suit probably didn't have his cape in the first game because of the extra animations/physics they'd have to do for just that one suit but now they can add that cape and maybe be willing to do other suits that require more animations/physics such as Miles' jacket costume from Into the Spider-Verse.

I’m being genuinely serious, I chocked up with I saw Arachknight as a pre order bonus, like I’ve loved that character and design for years, and Spider-Man is my favourite character with moon knight being extremely high up there too so it was easy for me to love the fusion. I just never expected him to be in a Spider-Man game so I am just extremely happy to be able to play as him!

Bro have you noticed how in the river gameplay it gives Peter way more time to react when there’s an incoming attack from the big drone or the boats. Whereas when swinging as miles it gives you only like a split second to react to incoming fire. Kinda showing how Peters spidey sense is more dialed in than miles’ is like in the comics. But we get to experience it in the gameplay🤯🤯

Arachknight is from warp world. Where Gamara use the infinity stones to fold universe in half causing the merging of two people and rewriting history and than putting them in the soul stone. Arachknight is the merging of spiderman and moon knight.

It really sucks that there are suits (and possibly other content as well) that are locked behind the digital deluxe edition. Not only does it straight up cost more, but I also prefer to have my games on disc so I can display the physical copy on my games shelf. Hopefully we can use the disc version of the game to upgrade to the digital deluxe version, that way we can have our physical copy and still have access to that digital only content. Not too outlandish imo since Insomniac did allow players to scan a standard copy of Miles Morales and were then prompted to get a digital upgrade to the Ultimate Edition (I believe that they also stated that they have similar plans for players being able to upgrade from a PS4 copy of the first game over to Spider-Man Remastered on PS5). Idk, it would just really suck if that digital upgrading system isn't in place for this game as well, so we'll essentially have to buy the game twice just to have a disc copy and all of the content. I'm also very surprised and disappointed that Insomniac would even lock content away behind a paywall like that, considering all the content they basically handed to us back in the first 2 games. Makes me wonder if locking suits to the digital deluxe version was their idea or Playstation/Sony's idea...

Just looked into it from other sources since Caboose didn't actually mention it here, but Insomniac have confirmed that the upgrade system is returning for this game as well and players with a physical copy CAN in fact pay a small fee to upgrade to the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game. Good thing too since that means I can still get my physical copy to display and have access to all of the game's content. Not sure why he didn't bring that up in the video, had me a bit worried tbh!

Insomniac Games did something similar with Ratchet & Clank 2016, where you had to preorder the game and it would come with a code for the Preorder Exclusive Bonus Weapon known as The Bouncer, as this was the ONLY way to get this weapon, and for whatever reason, my copy of the game did not come with the code DESPITE preorder the game physically (And yes it was supposed to come with the code whether you bought it physically or digitally). So this is not the first time they've done this, but I don't like it either way, maybe if they give you the option to buy these suits at a later date? But making them completely Preorder Exclusive? Bit scummy in my opinion, though I already plan to get the Digital Deluxe Edition AND Collector's Edition (If I can that is).
