I also saw a footage of sm2 where they wanted to have destructible environments during random crimes and missions that would have been cool and with these finisher would have made even cooler still I’m hoping that sm3 would have that

its called black suit because it isnt a ''symbiote'' yet, it has to connect deeper with the host and apparently that takes some time in this game

People was so sensitive about any for of constructive criticism...they pushed away any ideas to help the gane to be better....let a pre Sm2 release fan tell you...the game was already perfect

Sony rushed Insomniac to get the game released so they ended up cutting a lot of stuff out that was meant to be in the game.

Double finishers were always planned. Dunno if everyone forgot or it’s been so long but the first teaser for the game had Miles do a double finisher. Still doesn’t answer why it’s not in the game, but maybe it’ll explain why people thought it was already in the game.

This game needed another six months. The third act was extremely rushed. Hell a lot of the game feels like a sprint to the finish. I replayed SM1 and MM just over the last few weeks and something about them is just better. I like the side content and how it’s found much better in the first game. I liked all the hideouts and buildings you could enter, all the challenges for each type of side content, and I liked how they used the city better, and the pacing of each act was great imo., and don’t get me started on the cheesy writing in 2…made it feel like a Disney channel show for preteens. SM2 should be better at all those things but wasn’t. And the 3rd act really solidified for me that the first game was better, a lot better. And yea THE GADGETS! It made the combat so much more interesting and unique, you couldn’t just bust through everyone with a couple abilities and call it a day.

I don’t blame Sony for this, I blame Intihar and his poor management. I mean for God’s sake he admitted that he was willing to cut out content to make room for MJ missions
