The episode with the Mohawk woman named Kahori, who is a completely new and original character, is my most anticipated episode of the series because I remember hearing about this last year and it’s a story I have always wanted to see. What If pre-colonial America was never conquered by the Europeans. If the Tesseract had landed there instead and the Native Americans and First Nations actually made their own country, essentially an indigenous American Wakanda.

I thought I heard somewhere there will be new character this series! When I saw trailer I assumed its her, obviously, but wasnt 100% sure. This is awesome! I know its multiverse show, but maybe they connect her to Echo somehow? We saw glimpses of Echo show going back to her native american roots, so perhaps there is connection there with some ancient gods like in black panther / egypt - moon knight / asgard - norse? Could be cool, considering Echo had more power with phoenix force for a while in a comics and I dont think they will go that route (at least not for another few years) but Im also fine if they keep them completely separate.

There's a tabletop rpg called Coyote & Crow with the same general idea (minus us the Marvel stuff), that Europeans never colonized the Americas. It's a really interesting concept for What If-ing stories.

Orson Scott Card wrote a book about 30 yrs ago called Pastwatch. That does this exact thing.

Im all in for more native american/ first nation heroes and villians theyre among the few areas both dc and marvel havent done much with save for forge, thunderbird, warpath, mirage, black bison, echo,shaman and thats off the top of my head. Sidenote: having a what if where the first nation's population thrived and developed a wakanda style progress leading to modern day be interesting. I mean look at the mayans, aztecs and incas prior to spanish colonizers they had empires comparable to modern cities. There is potential for story telling and world buildig alone

Hello guys. That was the 80s, so we have Pym as Ant Man, and T’Chaka as Black Panther and others that came before the characters we know. Also, looks like Quill was taken to Ego as a kid and became part Celestial. That Native American girl will probably also appear in Echo.

There is an alternate timeline graphic novel series MARVEL did in which all the MARVEL characters were living in 1602. It is appropriately titled MARVEL 1602. The first grouping of the series takes place in both England and the colony of Roanoke, which unlike it's real-life counterpart, is a thriving New World colony. One of the main writers behind the first 1602 series is Neil Gaiman, who is known for Good Omens, Stardust, American Gods, and a number of other books, shows, and movies. One graphic novel he wrote for The Sandman won a very prestigious writing award. The first graphic novel to do so. The next year, the rules were redone to keep other graphic novels from winning this very same award. In regards to 1602, it is worth a look and a read. It's not related at all to this show unfortunately, but still worth your time.

I hope they find a way to make this another connected season and not JUST an anthology, because that ending to season one, tying things together, felt great. It would be kind of a letdown if we don't have some sort of throughline again. It doesn't have to be another assembly/crossover, but something to keep it from being just 9 independent stories, like something going on with the Watcher or something...

I've always loved the What-IF comics, and it's cool to see them doing a great job of making these animated episodes. I do admit that as soon as they get the X-Men into the MCU I kind of hope they do some animated versions of the X-Men-centered What-IF comics. Would love to see a halloween one centered on the What-IF Wolverine became Lord of the Vampires.

Ah cool this looks fun! I’m interested in more Captain Carter because she was the highlight for me in S1. I wonder what Scarlett is up to. Looks like we have an old Avengers team! Now Marvell is she Captain Marvel in that team? I wonder what the What if is going to be for Infinity War. What If Avengers won? Looks like we are having a bunch of episodes from old years to modern. I apologies too because whenever I see the Avengers in the driving sequence, all I think about is Fast and Furious but Avengers style 😅
