Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Actually Shartimus the furry version of Beast was introduced in March of 1972 in Amazing Adventures #11 which was 2 years before Wolverine was created so no his hair is not inspired by Wolverine's and Beast was actually Grey in his first furry form! Beast is 5'11 and Colossus is 7'5 so yeah kinda off on the height quite a bit! Great review man always a pleasure!!!!

And to piggy back on this topic, the Beast should NOT be taller than Cyclops. Scott Summers is 6'3, and as previously stated, Hank McCoy is 5'11. Plus to add to this, back when he looked like this, he was drawn at his accurate size (SHORTER than Cyclops), Especially when he was in the Avengers. "Bigger is Better" doesn't apply here (actually nowhere).

I just love Marvel Selects,they still hold the top spots for both my Venom & Carnage figures & this Beast figure as well as the Danger room display definitely do not disappoint.My local comic shop just recently stocked this figure but I was waiting for this very video before I went & picked one up.Great video as always. in fairness for the scaling segment, beast is usually hunched over, which the figure can do and gives him a bit better of a height

I am not too fond of the Select series. Colossus was my first, and his uniform chest piece doesn't fit right. I have about 12 of em and most don't have good articulation. Despite that, Juggernaut might be one of my favorite figures of all my collection. If zombies ever were to happen, and I cant grab one of my guns, I am beating someone over the head with this figure. Holy cow it is a beast. Plan on storing him on a lower shelf. If he gets momentum from a top shelf fall, nothing is going to stop him. heh

I assume as far as the sizing goes, they assumed that you're going to hunch him next to other characters. Some of the sizing on the select figures are absolutely ridiculous (Deadpool, Carnage)

Sorry, but it seems horrible, the scale, the head, the articulation. I used to make excuses for diamond select because of the sculpts but if there gonna continue Marvel figures they need to step up their game in my opinion, that last Rogue was not much better and with the more limited posing, sculpts should be dead on I think and I’m sick of scales being different with each figure. If you love it that’s great but I just can’t stay on board.

Shin cuts are absolutely peanut brained. Standing up, measure what angle you can move one of your feet from the inside to the outside without moving your knee and/or thigh, hip, anything else. I guarantee it's less than 60 degrees, and most of it will be uncomfortable. There couldn't possibly be a more worthless point of articulation without getting into absurdity, like a shin pivot or something equally impossible for all but Reed Richards.
