I like this Starlord a lot. The sculpt looks phenomenal to me. I don really collect Select but if it wasn't fit that upper leg/ crotch style I'd consider get this. Not to fan of that only one gun choice and no unmasked head but 25 bucks for this 2 sounds good! ✌🏻

The writing on the back says it includes an unmasked head and twin guns lmao 🤔 I love Diamond Selects sculpt and paint work but sometimes they fuck up

Bart Man I was just about to comment the same thing. Waay before the figure came out DST said they were not including the unmasked head yet they couldn't change the writing on the back to reflect that. Smh.

Bart Man select Drax is okay. Just really pissed me off that his knives cannot be stored on his ankles.

awesome review man answered all my questions i had about it when i saw the package reveal couldn't believe Star Lord only came with one blaster but good to know the Disney Store Marvel Selects blasters work with it. Rocket looks awesome too was hoping they kept him as articulated as the Disney Store version too

Unparalleled Universe not had any joy fixing it then? Hopefully just your version although still a good expression. When you do the Drax with Groot review can you do a comparison with the Marvel Legends Gotg vol2 that Select hasn't done like Gamora, Nebula and Yondu? Thinking about getting them to complete MCU for them but if size is bad prob not. Did get Hela and she fits in great but I know she's built but bigger

Nice review! Although the Marvel Legends figure is considerably smaller, the heads actually look about the same size. Do you think it would look OK to place the ML unmasked head on this figure?

+hans peters I really think it will be to small. The Select version is ALOT bigger then the Legends.

Okay I just got this and I can tell you that his head is on a peg, so no tilt at all. His jaw IS articulated...however it is accidentally glued in place at assembly because of the peg that goes into the head, the glue ran into the joint. I had to heat the head up and pull the jaw out and unstick it and even now I may have to push a pin into the hinge because I THINK the jaw and hinge piece are molded together and to get it unstuck I kinda had to wreck the hinge a but so I might have to drill it out and add a pin, probably from a hot wheels axle.

Yeah fam it's worth it just for the rocket. But that starlord ain't bad. That one blaster thing is crazy though

Great review. Did you work out if Rocket's mouth should move or not?Also, about 9 months ago you did a great review of a large Groot action figure. In the review you state that you will be covering the other Guardians. Did you ever buy any other Guardians of the Galaxy from that same range? I would love to see reviews of all the Guardians.

+Christopher Williams maaaan I have tried everything to get the mouth to move and it won't. I sent a message to Diamonds Facebook page asking if it's supposed to but haven't heard back. I did get the rest of the Select Guardians but I just didn't have time to review them then. It's a pretty cool set of figures Especially Rocket, Groot and Drax. Gamora is pretty nice too. I liked Starlord but a lot of people did not becuase of his super loose joints.

Well you have been spoiling us with the awesome selection of reviews lately, so I am not complaining. Can you do a video and tell us what you got for Christmas? Also, how does your wife react to your collecting? My girlfriend is definitely NOT a sci-fi /comics fan and it is a bit of a juggling act to keep my collectors instinct and my relationship equally balanced. How is your wife with things? Or is she a fan/collector too?

+Christopher Williams yeah I really tried to finish the year strong with the reviews, sorry I never got to the other guardians but they are pretty cool. As for a Christmas, we kind of took it easy this year so I didn't get anything exciting enough to make a video for haha. My wife isn't into ANYTHING having to do with sci-fi, action figures or comics and doesn't collect at all haha. But she is really supportive of my collecting and my channel. She goes with me to conventions and all that stuff. The only thing she gets concerned about is the amount of money spent sometimes but it's usually never a huge issue. If I can't afford it, I can't afford it, so it's simple.

That shf sl is so unnecessary to me other than the helmet sculpt and paint on the helmet that looks rad but its just like sl isnt an agile character other than flying in space or shooting his guns what else would people want? Not that u buying it is wrong im just giving my opinion on it

Sculpt and paint are fenominale, but proportions on Star Lord is silly. Arms are too short. The result, no gun, no head, no perspective of releasing Gamora. Skip.

They give you a fully articulated Racoon... due to production logistics they prob didn’t include the base...

Ummmm..... it's not free genius. The gamora and rocket figure last year had a base even know it's not very good. The starlord from this set only has one gun and I doubt it cost more than 50 cents to use the mold of the first one and make another gun. They are going cheap with their stuff; even the face mask/ helmet of starlord looks cheap.

I like these Selects quite a bit, sometimes they can b underwhelming but sometimes they SMASH Legends...case in point the Ragnorok Gladiator Hulk is MILES better than the Legends BAF.
