I'd rather see Shang Chi 2 before Thor 5, honestly. I'd rather not have Raimi come back for Dr. Strange 3. His style is way too campy for the next phase of the MCU. I still think Dr. Strange 2 could have been SO much more if it had been done by a different director.

Thor and Hulk don't need another movie - they're at the point where they can drop into other movies as needed when their story arcs fit within another character's storyline in the MCU. You could even do that with an Eternal here and there...they had their intros, now drop them into other movies if their arc fits. If they're not needed, don't use them.

The obvious answer with Doctor Strange 3 is to adapt aspects of Time Runs Out. Not having Strange and Doom meet before secret wars would be a massive mistake. Strange should be present for the destruction of the multiverse and the standoff between Doom and the Beyonders.

For real. I figured Doomsday was going to adapt Time Runs Out and basically replace Strange 3 but doing it as a lead into Doomsday is even better: really flesh out the Clea & Strange investigation before have them meet the F4 Timeline setting it all up perfectly.

I think Doomsday is a great setup for the Young Avengers. The prior films could have Doom deposing or defeating all the main Avengers (and Fantastic Four) which leaves Dooms focus on battleworld, and lets the Young Avengers pull off a win that nobody sees coming, because they're just "kids"

I wonder if replacing Kang with Doom and Strange being taken out of Doomsday indicates that the story is going to be Doom taking out all Kangs and Stranges - as these characters are the most consistently messing up the multiverse and pose the largest risk to Doom (or incursions etc etc) so Strange has been a casualty of rewriting everything to replace the big bad

I will always feel like the biggest misses of the MCU was not making the Defenders a bigger deal, and had them protect earth in the absence of the Avengers. The other was not making haste with the Young Avengers after the loss of the Avengers at the end of End Game.

I told you guys repeatedly that Doom is the Biggest of Big Bads of the Multiverse Saga. Right before AVENGERS SECRET WARS, you release the Doctor Strange threequel "DOCTOR STRANGE TRIUMPH & TORMENT." Stars RDJ and Benedict Cumberbatch. It will adapt both the graphic novel of the same name AND the best elements of Hickman's TIME RUNS OUT comics, namely, Doom and Strange. It will also ENDEAR us to Victor Von Doom, giving us more flashbacks of his mother and past. Doom makes the ultimate sacrifice to save his mother's soul. But it ends with Doom, Strange, and Wanda Maximoff before dying Eternity (no Beyonders needed). Doom does what Strange and Wanda cannot, taking Eternity's life force and becoming God, creating Battleworld. Enter SECRET WARS.

I think the most likely option for the Eternals is to have them appear in other projects but never get their own again. I don't like that, but it's probably true. So I would really like for a movie to work as both a sequel to Eternals AND Shang-Chi. You get the beauty of Eternals and Chloe Zhao's visionary directorial style, the character work of Destin Daniel Cretin, and amazing action sequences combining both martial arts and whatever the hell it is the Eternals do. And while I don't know how the hell you could connect the Eternals and Shang-Chi (obviously through the Ten Rings), it could potentially make for one hell of a story.
