I suspect there are too many story threads going into Doomsday and so some need to have hit a hard pause to be picked up again later. It sounds like they need to split Doomsday into two / delay Secret Wars to allow more story threads to continue to develop.

It'll take from that work mainly, but still draw very much from Time Runs Out, particularly the Rabum Allal material and Doom saving everything, becoming God, making Battleworld. Let's assume de Armas is playing Doom's mother. The answer to your question would be "perfectly." In flashbacks, as Doom tells Stephen (and us) his horrid past and bio, and as her tormented soul in Mephisto's Infernal Realm when Doom makes the ultimate sacrifice to free her. And my GOD! If that doesn't sell the MCU audience on FALLING IN LOVE with the GOAT of all supervillains, Doctor Doom, NOTHING will! Which makes the conflict of what follows with Doom taking Eternity's power and SECRET WARS all the more devistatingly difficult... all he wants to do is cure Cancer! All he wants to do is stop all wars and famine, all crime and murder! He wants hospitals and space stations and lifespans extended geometrically AND with quality of life soaring! Doom has a great dynamic with Conan (and Strange) in it. I’ve always said he’s better as an antihero. So we agree! We’re probably gonna catch up to what strange has been doing towards the end of the movie & the strange 3 movie will show us the things him & clea have been up to leading up to them linking up with doom & then we get secret wars

I think someone of Cumberbatch’s caliber is told well in advance whether or not they are planning to put him in a movie. Even if the script is being re-written, the writers need to plan around the schedules of the actors who are available.

Dr Strange is the only person who knows who Spider Man is. Spider Man, in the belief that he is the anchor being for the 616 universe, would be a target of Robert Downey Jr's Doom. This would make an incredible storyline if Strange had an inner predicament and had to choose the greater option and get involved, not because he agreed, but because he realized it was for the real greater good...

I think Galactus will be working for/with Dr.Doom. Dr.Doom will have him devour other earths to stop incursions from happening. But Dr.Doom will be looking for reality warpers that can do the job on a much larger scale. ( Dr.Strange, Scarlett Witch, Franklin Richards)

Doomsday is going to show Doom somehow getting the Dark Hold. He will also acquire the quantum bands, the 10 rings, and whatever else you wanna throw in there. He will also get all the vibranium and adamantium he needs, make his suit and mask and what not. I have a feeling Fantastic Four post credit scene will be VVD burning his face off. He will never resemble RDJ.

since the entire majors fiasco and doom being introduced, I always thought that marvel would let Doom ride the wave Kang has already started...so my idea was that in the F4 movie, since they might originally be from the sacred timeline...them defeating Moleman and so forth didn't have major consequences in that reality but when Galactus and Silver surfer come in the picture and the F4 preventing galactus from destroying that planet they interfered with a major tentpole event and that triggers an incursion...Doom then starts to see the people of latvia and his reality start to wither away he then manages to travel outside of time and ends up in the Arena from Quantumania not really showing any of their faces and that ends the final sequence of the F4 movie ...the Doomsday starts off with that last scene from F4 but now the entire arena is just filled with Kang corpses...he takes Kang's technology and travels to the 616 universe in search of Reed to try and Undo what the F4 has caused in the Retro 60's reality but Reed explains to him that it can't be undone...and During this time Doom learns of Franklin Richard's power of shaping reality, he abducts him and hides out in the void outside of time, trying to figure out how he will either bring his reality back or create a new one...we then get several sequences of where the current avengers are with their lives ending with sam wilsons captain america, reed shows up through one of his portals and he says to Sam that he needs the avengers help and that is how Doomsday kicks off...during the movie right before the climax doom almost gets overpowered and uses his failsafe by opening various multiversal portals bringing all the villains from over the years and maybe even new ones into the void to fight the F4 and the rest of the avengers...and just before the avengers lose...God of stories Loki shows up to try and put an end to this mess killing several villains on his way including Thanos and maybe a brief reunion with Thor who is currently toe to toe with Hercules... he then makes his way to Doom but while everyone else to too Busy fighting different Villains, we then given a Anime style fight sequence of Loki and Doom...we see the moment in Dooms eyes where he realizes he is losing the fight, in a last ditch effort he manages to syphon most Franklins power to knock Loki away...Thor tries to finish Doom off but is defeated with ease...peter parker who was just fighting Tom Hardys venom jumps in and tries to punch Doom in the face but Doom blocks it holding Peters arm up peter manages to get another punch in with he's free arm and lands it knocking Doom's mask off he's face, weak in his knees peter stares into the face of his enemy but sees his old mentor, barely able to utter the words "Mr. Stark?" ...Doom opens a portal and kicks peter through it sending him back to the 616...Doom finally gets to loki who's too injured to fight back holding him up with one hand by the throat draining his powers...we then pan to Reed holding Franklin in his arms making sure he's okay with tears of relief in his eyes he slowly looks up at doom...Sue shows up and tells Reed that he has to stop him...Reed makes he's way to Doom but is too late... Doom looks at his hands in awe of his newfound power and a lifeless Loki at his feet. before Reed can even get to him, Doom uses his power in a Thanos snap kind of way, the screen goes from white to black...Doom looks up and realizes he did not do what he wanted to but instead brought all the heroes and villains from the collapsing realities into the void thus creating battle-world and preserving the few realities that were left where most of the avengers and the fanstastic four that were there in the beginning have now been scattered to...there would probably be two or even 3 post credit scenes...one setting up spider-man 4, one for doctor strange 3, and one where doom gets the idea to create to reset everything and risk no more incursions by just having one universe (this is where I think Doctor Strange might side with Doom)

Benedict is lying just like Andrew Garfield, the black priests will be an antagonistic force in Doomsday going around destroying universes to prevent incursions, and at the end it turns out it was Doctor Strange the whole time. Doctor Strange and Doctor Doom’s confrontation with the Beyonders (maybe Loki?) will happen in flashbacks in Secret Wars. That’s my theory!

I am calling it bull on this news as I think that Dr. Strange is in Avengers Doomsday, but not in the way we think. If Marvel Studios is truly doing the 2015 Secret Wars, then they cannot ignore the relationship and team-up between both Doctor Doom and Doctor Strange that leads into Secret Wars. If Marvel Studios knows of concerns of the Multiverse Saga mess, then they should do whatever it takes to fix it and not truly rushed it to its finish. That includes the team up between both Doctors of Mystics.

Really good video, and what Alex has said does get me incredibly excited for the future of Marvel and the end of the Multiverse Saga, but I still do not know how the Russos are going to pull this whole story together with no Doctor Strange in Doomsday, and no Doctor Strange 3. I am becoming more and more skeptical about how these two next Avengers movies should go, as an incredible amount of Doctor Strange exposition in a movie that should be about multiverse heroes fighting God Emperor Doom will either take away from what Secret Wars should be, or make it a three-and-a-half to a four hour long movie, which would also be strange as well.

At this point I’m still convinced that Secret Wars is going to be 2 parts. Instead of the rumored “Eternity Wars” it’ll just be secret wars part 2. Even with doomsday, it is too big a story to tell in just 1 film. Also, I think strange will essentially be either: the ‘recruiter’ in Secret Wars, gathering up hero’s from other universes with the help of America Chavez. OR, maybe strange actually agrees with Doom to some degree and will help him achieve his goal. Maybe doom promises him a reality where he can be both dr strange and have his relationship with Christine. It would fulfill the idea that he is the biggest threat to the multiverse
