It's actually good to see Jeff completely obliterated that guy. The smile in the end, I can see Jeff saying in his mind "get fcked Thanos playerrr". Those Thanos and Shuri players, imagine coming to an invitational tournament and you bring a the exact fking meta deck 1-1, not one sub what so ever.. so much creativity!
@krodis735 Жыл бұрын
I felt like Freddy would have had those games against Hoogland if he had been smarter with throwing priority. Hoogland is too smart to leave himself vulnerable for a turn to killmonger. The only way you're going to pin him down is if you lose priority on turn six and killmonger.
@markblancher6801 Жыл бұрын
I agree completely. Jeff is playing at such a high level you really have to be perfect to beat him. Don’t forget that Jeff snaps so early in his games that it has to put pressure on his opponents over the course of a series. He seems terrifying to go up against in battle mode
@louisfriend9323 Жыл бұрын
point is that most decks cannot not take priority against bishop angela. darkhawk strong against all the thanos decks. jeff made the perfect counter deck.
@DLSacks Жыл бұрын
Jeff's deck seems more than just an anti-meta deck. It's a super high-skill deck that depends on anti-priority. I also love that he blew the game with Lamentis and Sacred Timeline. It was a great example of playing your position (way ahead on tournament cubes) that led to him holding back.
@LOKITYZ Жыл бұрын
That deck that Jeff's using is one of the most confusing and complicated decks to play. It seems simple and obvious but a lot of times I just mess up somehow and lose. Jeff plays it so flawlessly. I've saved a lot to finally get a Darkhawk so I have the exact same deck and I lose a lot with it. It is fun to play, though. You feel like a tactician when you manage pull it off.

I totally understand that it’s a very unique format to be casting, and no one has experience casting it, so this isn’t an insult as much as an explanation. The casters really need a better understanding of the rules of the format. When Jeff and Freddy were 6 to 5 and playing for 4 cubes, Freddy had NO reason to snap. A snap would mean the difference between Jeff being at 2 health or 1, which doesn’t matter. Freddy snapping would have put them all in with no benefit.

I don't really love KMBest and Blevins casting together, while individually they are both good, together they are a little too technical and I have a bit of a hard time telling their voices apart.
