If you were in the Philippines back in 98-01’, this game was one of the most popular cabs in the country. I remember seeing this game flocked endlessly as a kid, and there were a bunch of CPS2 import cabs (either the JPN or ASIA vers.) of it in a few cities like Manila and Cebu in those days. It was MSHVSF, MVC 1 and the Dungeons and Dragon games mostly popular, I reckon

@@z.albasha yes, this is also true when Internet Cafes were also on the rise during this time in the country. When the “hulog-hulog” machines (basically coin-timed PCs you play depending how much money you dropped. It automatically locks you out when the timer runs out) started to rise in the mid-2000s and beyond, is when CS, LOL and Dota were getting popular. Theres atleast a few of them in every barangay, like you stated. Then the smartphone era took over around the late 2000s to 2010s (mostly) with ML and CoC (which isn’t as popular than ML)
