Tony Stark is the best developed character in the MCU, he started off as a douchebag that only cared for himself, and he ended being selfless and saving the whole universe at the cost of his life. No one can replace RDJ, We Love You 3000 Iron Man.
@abhijithis9424

He was not a douchebag , he was self obsessed that doesn't mean he was a D. He had an external mask, he didn't want people to see the kid inside who got lost when his parents died, he had no one, he filled that void with all the material things or so and he flashed it in front of people so no one would look inside the mask, he hates to be vulnerable.

Abhijith I S Iron Man has always been my favorite. But MCU Tony was a douche bag. Self obsessed is typically how douche bags are described and if you rewatch Iron Man 2, he was clearly a fucking jerk. But he did have massive development, though he stayed somewhat stubborn. He did have trauma that he masked and built a mental shield around, but so did almost every other MCU Avenger. He made a lot of moves that were meant to help, but backfired and caused more harm than good (Iron Man 3 & Civil War) I love how Stark went from broken, selfish, douche to selfless, team oriented, savior of the universe.

"You can rest now." That single line made me break into tears during my first watching. When Tony was talking to Pepper in their house about the time travel discovery and that he was talking about buring the whole discovery, Pepper told him "But will you be able to rest?." Referencing his character, always thinking and wanting to protect. He would've regreted it so much if he hadn't at least tried to save the people snapped away by Thanos. Concluding Tony's arc with Pepper telling him that they were gonna be alright now and that he could finally rest was the perfect line. Finally, after everything Tony achieved what he truely was after all this time. Some rest.... His peace.

William Bouchard yes, his life started when he built a suit in a cave, but it was always filled with chaos and uncertainty, and he never found peace, until Pepper told him that they would be ok, only then could he rest. Because he knew that his sacrifice had made a difference, and he finally got the peace that he deserved so much. Love him 3000 ❤️

Tony said to Peter in Homecoming that he should just stay a friendly neighborhood spiderman. He dies, and Peter looses yet another father figure. He realizes that Stark was trying to protect him. All he wanted to do was to respect Tony’s wishes. In FFH, he keeps telling Fury that he isn’t ready, and that he is a friendly neighborhood spiderman Ik this has nothing to do w/ the video but it’s just a thought. Also this made me cry so. Good job. :)

Tony Stark. A billionaire and genius who has everything a man could want and more. Left his father's military weapon company after his father died in a car accident. He was left orphaned in his teen. Money had corrupted him over the years. It wasn't until he almost died that his life began. He was kidnapped by terrorists who threatened to kill him if he didn't build a weapon for them. He used his intellect to build a suit of iron to get himself freed from the cave and after he was rescued, he perfected the suits. Making them less bulky and learned to use the suits for good. Defying what others told him to do, he came out to the public as what the media named him as "Iron Man". It was those four words that would change his life forever. "I am Iron-Man." He continued to be a hero, found the love of his life, made a team that would not just save the world but the whole galaxy. granted, they didn't win every time but they tried and defended it with their lives. He retired and made a life, not being able to be a hero after failing. But he came back with one intention and one intention only. To kill the plague that was killing him to think about. Thanos. To destroy him and win once and for all. When they finally won, they were happy but at the cost of two lives. Natasha Romanoff and Tony Stark. His last words were "I am Iron Man." The words he said when he began his life as a hero and the last words he said before saving half of the universe. I really love how his character progressed through each movie until the last second. We will miss you Tony but rest well. You saved the world after all. We love you 3000.

This is a master-work of editing. If you're not in the movie business, you should be. This is editing as art. You have incredible talent, and spirit, and your heart comes through in your work. Thank you for sharing this with the world. I hope RDJ sees this, and/or anyone from Marvel. My hands are literally shaking. What a fantastic tribute to a cinematic legend so great, it will live on forever. There will never be any serious discussion about action movies, or "comic book" movies, superhero movies, etc.. in the the future.. that does not include RDJ and his portrayal.. his bringing to life.. of Iron Man.

I think the biggest change in his arcs is the moment he see the Alien spaceship hovering above Manhattan portal. Imagine your whole life sum up to a crisis moment, your sadness your anxiety mean nothing to whatever terror is out there, especially when u have a the power and the responsibility to protect Humanity. Greatest arc ever

“Part of the journey is the end” just made me want to sob. I know what it feels like to lose someone you care about, as I lost a very close friend just over a year ago. I thought I was okay, but those words brought the grief rushing back. I miss you 3000, Tony. Avengers will never be the same again.

Avengers: He took the nuke with him to destroy the Thanos army and save NY. Age of Ultron: He blew the city almost risking his life to save all. Infinity war: He faced Thanos with no second thought and made him bleed. Endgame: He killed Thanos and his army by ending his life. He was always fighting for others, not for himself. Respect!!! Yes, YOU ARE IRON MAN!

I hate the fact that marvel and other superheroes have dominated cinema for over a decade, but still appreciate the phenomenon Iron Man has been, his was the first motion picture, yet his sacrifice was the sealant of the past decade, never ever will marvel and Disney be able capture our hearts as much as Tony Stark/Iron Man did, this entire video made me emotional in joy, I was 18/19 when the first film came out and didnt do much but it was actually cool, yet look at MCU now, stark made it look good! love you 3000 bro

"Isn't that the WHY we fight? So we can end the fight and go home?" Always hits me so hard because it's when Iron Man/Tony Stark goes from selfless asshole to an actual hero and Caps reaction of anger is what really made a spark in the avengers. Tony was determined to make homes not just be the idea of a good man protecting the innocent, he saw it whilst cap was still lost because he couldn't go home himself being lost in time, Tony the selfless asshole went a step further than even cap could. First at the end of civil war cap admitted that he wasn't fighting to end the fight hence the apology and I think that made him stronger and gave him the fight to stand up against any odds.
