Tony Stark is the best developed character in the MCU, he started off as a douchebag that only cared for himself, and he ended being selfless and saving the whole universe at the cost of his life. No one can replace RDJ, We Love You 3000 Iron Man.
@abhijithis94245 жыл бұрын
He was not a douchebag , he was self obsessed that doesn't mean he was a D. He had an external mask, he didn't want people to see the kid inside who got lost when his parents died, he had no one, he filled that void with all the material things or so and he flashed it in front of people so no one would look inside the mask, he hates to be vulnerable.

Abhijith I S Iron Man has always been my favorite. But MCU Tony was a douche bag. Self obsessed is typically how douche bags are described and if you rewatch Iron Man 2, he was clearly a fucking jerk. But he did have massive development, though he stayed somewhat stubborn. He did have trauma that he masked and built a mental shield around, but so did almost every other MCU Avenger. He made a lot of moves that were meant to help, but backfired and caused more harm than good (Iron Man 3 & Civil War) I love how Stark went from broken, selfish, douche to selfless, team oriented, savior of the universe.

"You can rest now." That single line made me break into tears during my first watching. When Tony was talking to Pepper in their house about the time travel discovery and that he was talking about buring the whole discovery, Pepper told him "But will you be able to rest?." Referencing his character, always thinking and wanting to protect. He would've regreted it so much if he hadn't at least tried to save the people snapped away by Thanos. Concluding Tony's arc with Pepper telling him that they were gonna be alright now and that he could finally rest was the perfect line. Finally, after everything Tony achieved what he truely was after all this time. Some rest.... His peace.

Tony Stark. A billionaire and genius who has everything a man could want and more. Left his father's military weapon company after his father died in a car accident. He was left orphaned in his teen. Money had corrupted him over the years. It wasn't until he almost died that his life began. He was kidnapped by terrorists who threatened to kill him if he didn't build a weapon for them. He used his intellect to build a suit of iron to get himself freed from the cave and after he was rescued, he perfected the suits. Making them less bulky and learned to use the suits for good. Defying what others told him to do, he came out to the public as what the media named him as "Iron Man". It was those four words that would change his life forever. "I am Iron-Man." He continued to be a hero, found the love of his life, made a team that would not just save the world but the whole galaxy. granted, they didn't win every time but they tried and defended it with their lives. He retired and made a life, not being able to be a hero after failing. But he came back with one intention and one intention only. To kill the plague that was killing him to think about. Thanos. To destroy him and win once and for all. When they finally won, they were happy but at the cost of two lives. Natasha Romanoff and Tony Stark. His last words were "I am Iron Man." The words he said when he began his life as a hero and the last words he said before saving half of the universe. I really love how his character progressed through each movie until the last second. We will miss you Tony but rest well. You saved the world after all. We love you 3000.

I hate the fact that marvel and other superheroes have dominated cinema for over a decade, but still appreciate the phenomenon Iron Man has been, his was the first motion picture, yet his sacrifice was the sealant of the past decade, never ever will marvel and Disney be able capture our hearts as much as Tony Stark/Iron Man did, this entire video made me emotional in joy, I was 18/19 when the first film came out and didnt do much but it was actually cool, yet look at MCU now, stark made it look good! love you 3000 bro

Without pain, we cannot have empathy.....loss helps us understand how important each day is. We don't get to choose our time. Death is what gives life meaning. Loss, pain, failure....

This is the first time I’ve been able to watch an edit of Tony since Endgame. I still haven’t accepted his death 😩 I’m not over it and I never will be. He’s the first character I’ve ever loved 😩

"Isn't that the WHY we fight? So we can end the fight and go home?" Always hits me so hard because it's when Iron Man/Tony Stark goes from selfless asshole to an actual hero and Caps reaction of anger is what really made a spark in the avengers. Tony was determined to make homes not just be the idea of a good man protecting the innocent, he saw it whilst cap was still lost because he couldn't go home himself being lost in time, Tony the selfless asshole went a step further than even cap could. First at the end of civil war cap admitted that he wasn't fighting to end the fight hence the apology and I think that made him stronger and gave him the fight to stand up against any odds.

Tony: "I am just not the Hero Type clearly". Well, I have never seen a Hero like you.

I feel like at 8:07 that’s exactly what was going through his head. The people he loved. What he was doing was for them and that’s what he must think about to go through with it. Great video

Man the marvel universe is such a legendary movie series. I don't think anything will ever compare to the awesomeness that is the Avengers.
