What exactly is the commander solo mode? And which box is it included with? Thanks so much! I have been following your channel since the kickstarter, and you're doing a great job covering this! Keep up the good work!

Cheers, Scott, thanks so much for the kind words! Commander Solo mode is a new solo rule that lets you play as just one hero (with 4 other heroes’ power cards as a separate support deck). So we can use it to have, for example, just Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock if we wanted. I think the Core Box rulebook will explain exactly how it works.

My rankings are: 1. Pets, 2. Team decks, 3. Equipment. All of these make the game easier or keep it at the same level. Next are Campaign (skeptical about the time investment) and Commander (tried it; but I"m likely to stick with multi-handed). 6 is Sin6. 7 and 8 are Complications and Carnage (I'm not looking for ways to make the game harder). Rounding out the bottom are Civil War Registration and Heroes (no interest in competitive play, although the asymmetrical mode is interesting enough that I might try it).

The good thing about this campaign (I hope) is that keeping track of it won’t become a part-time job like with Gloomhaven. 😂

Great list! Mine is slightly different, team decks and equipment are my number 1 and 2 because I’ll probably be using them every game I can. Can’t wait to play those campaigns and sinister 6 tho too, I’m pretty excited for everything we are getting, can’t wait to try it all

im thinking complications is needed bec with equipments, companions, and team deck, the game might be too easy for most villains

as to campaign decks. im kinda worried i dont have a lot of the expansions, but its nice my FLGS have MU expansions for almost 15$. Money is now the only issue 🤣

Glad your local game stores carry the expansions! I've been hunting all over for missing expansions but my local stores are empty'! LoL

I don’t think Hero clash is made with 4v4 in mind. Probably will work- but I suspect the downtime is why it’s not being marketed that way.

the only problem with team decks is that i do not have the all in set for season 1 and 2

Same here. I think it's going to effect the Campaign Decks more for me, since I don't have Phoenix Five or Horsemen of Apocalypse. But we'll make do with what we have!
