What music makes sense for a fighting game? If you think about it, there is no "Fighting Game" Genre in Music, and many fighting games use different Genre for stages, this game just used one genre for all the stages, i dont see any "non sense" here

Most of the tracks in MvC2 sound like chill music at your downtown city lounge/bar. They are actually great, for that. For a hype fast crazy offense game like MvC2, they seem just a little out of place. No Im lying, they totally don't fit.

God i hated this soundtrack when i first heard it. I was expecting traditional high octane fighting game music!!!! I grew to really like it whilst playing the game. 20 years later and i absolutely love it as it reminds me of rushing back from School to play this against my mates. Such simple times. Where did the time go? Looking back it was a brave move to have this music in the game as it's nothing like anyone expected but it really worked!
