This is the hardest guy in the game. I cannot beat my friend when he has this guy. Its so hard because hes hard to get to. All he does is that "blackhole" move and raises the purple flames under you. Only guy I've came close with to beating him is wolverine.

@cptmorgan155 Like you say, characters move like they're on speed and Red Bull, with a few exceptions, but even those can just jump over the other projectiles. Although the lifebars are freaking small in MvC3, the only reliable way to deal damage is to combo. And if they just keep spamming moves, it';s really easy to catch on to their timing and punish appropriately.

@Kalistracko You're telling us you can't do an air combo? You need to press up directly after your Launcher move connects, then you just mash buttons, then you press S again and a direction to pull in your second character, keep pummeling, press S again and a direction, pummel, press S. You just executed a 3-Character Air Combo. Of course, Pros don't jsut mash buttons in the air, but it works for me just fine everytime.

@MrChach1ng You know. Heart of Darkness. QCF + 2K. Blackheart summons some gargoyles to attack his opponent while he floats a bit then finishes the Hyper Combo with a fire variation of Inferno.

Dormammu ranks among the absolute most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe. Period. I'm not saying he could beat Dark Phoenix or Galcatus but he sure would give them a run for their money. They just couldn't swat him down easily and effortlessly like they do everybody else. They would have to put in some work to beat him.

@BigBurkhart It's more of a joke as SFIV places much more emphasis on predicting the oppenent's next move and then predicting that he would predict your next move that you had predicted his and predict that he would predict your move after that, hence strategy in real time.

@metaXzero That is true about Nu and Rachel, but Tager can deal with zoning with proper skill, such as not abusing his easily punished projectile-immunity moves predictably and playing a more patient game. Also, Nu has been nerfed in the sequel and still suffers from having one of the lowest health bars in the game, meaning that a good Tager can still put up a fight against a Nu/Lambda player. Capcom has just ignored its lower tiered characters and does not do a good a job in balancing overall.

@metaXzero The whole thing about them haven't been played much is the reason why no one is gonna use anyone else in the near future, EVERYONE wants to try them out. As for Gief and Tager, all I can say is that tiers are subjective to the game. Where BB is more combo and rushdown oriented, the SF series in general revolves around a keep away game and finding an opportunity to do a small combo and then knock the opponent back so you can start using hadoukens again.

@kingghidora813 Well the F4 are out because they would take up four character slots, so they comprimised and got Super-Skrull, as for Dr. Doom and Dormammu, no idea, I hear the F4 will be part of the game's story and Ghost Rider gets a cameo, but Marvel has mostly heroes on its roster for this game though (unfortunatly they have yet to announce any female marvel characters).
