Dude honestly, he has every reason to be in smash. Memorable and amazing battle themes, complex combat suitable to be transferred into a smash brothers playstyle. He HAS a literal echo fighter as a brother (Sorry Vergil, you are still video games most epic character however), and so many locations that can be used as a stage, for example; my smash bros stage idea is the “Temen-ni-gru”, the battle begins at the bottom of the street in Dante’s shop, and the players will advance their way through the tower (Love Planet, Cerberus’s lair, the main beginning area of the tower, Agni and Rudras arena, gigapedes arena, the Water cave area where Nevan lurks, through the cavernous area where the torture chambers lies where Beowulf lurks, up the tower where Dante and Vergil battled in the rain, then the players are sucked into the Demon world where “Fallens” lurk and Arkhams disastrous Sparda form. And finally the players are brought to where Dante and Vergil face off for the third time in the demon world (I also forgot to mention Vergil 2’s arena area). And the stage resets. It could be like how Sunshine’s stage was, and or Kid Icarus’s forest of reset stage is. Literally this idea would be a Love letter to Devil May Cry in smash… And Lady & Trish could together be an assist trophy. Literally Devil May Cry should be DLC 1, it’s the perfect opportunity.
