I cannot wait for this collection, so many great games that I loved playing. Our local laundromat had a MvC2 cabinet that was free to play and I'd be posted by it playing as my favorite character, Spider-Man. They also had Metal Slug and other Neo Geo games in a multi cabinet as well a Terminator 2 arcade.

@@SALTYTOAD00 I've played all of the games in the past, but I rarely found that many MvC2 cabinets (the one I saw a lot was the one in the Pizza Inn in Collins when my grandma and I still lived in Seminary), so my main exposure to the game was the Dreamcast version I owned, which I played to death. I also owned MvC1 for Dreamcast, and that arcade cabinet I frequented at the Cyberstation that used to exist in Turtle Creek Mall in Hattiesburg, being right in a nice nook in the Food Court (seeing that game in action again, I can smell the pizza at Villa Pizza, where I would go get a big slice when I got hungry) - really, seeing MvC1 again also brings back memories of seeing other arcade cabinets at Cyberstation, like Street Fighter III: New Generation, X-Men vs Street Fighter, Vampire Savior, NFL Blitz, Crisis Zone, Soul Calibur, Gauntlet 3D, and that one river riding game that had you in a canoe (my stepdad was always fascinated in how that game worked).

Marvel Super Heroes was a ton of fun. The infinity gems act as buffing items.

​​@@brynwhitlock62 They're basically like your standard fighting game, but the Specials and Supers are way bigger. And for the case of X-men vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, Marvel vs. CAPCOM, and Marvel vs. CAPCOM 2, they're tag-team fighting games, which means you pick 2 characters, 3 for Marvel vs. CAPCOM 2, and whoever loses all of their characters first is the loser. But you can switch between your characters that are still alive, so if your current character is taking a beating, you can swap then out. They'll even regain a bit of their health while on the sidelines.

Part of me hopes this game could help Darkstalkers get new games alone again someday (it recently turned 30 and there are so many potential ideas for new characters, storylines, gimmicks, etc) it deserves a comeback!

I never played MvC2 in my whole life because I don't have dreamcast and PS2. I played XvS MvS and MvC1 but it was only on PSX which is a different version of the game. The only game that I played is UMvC3

im a fan of this collection but i hope we can change the tracks on marvel vs capcom 2 becouse it blows also marvel vs capcom the hidden characters better be obtainable and load times better be quick other wise is not even worth it and please make it 1080 at leat none of that 480 nonsense

It's confirmed that the hidden characters are easily selectable now, similar to the CAPCOM Fighting Collection. Also, Cyber Akuma is playable in Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter. Previously, he was only in the PS1 port.

It’s available out now these games from arcade 1 up the only difference is no trophies 🏆 and arcade 1 up is way better then PS4 or Nintendo Switch if your a true fan of marvel Vs capcom then you would buy the arcade 1 up that’s $600 not wait until December 2024 I hope nobody is buying the trash marvel Vs capcom on PSX on ebay that’s going for $$100-$300 that failed paying a scalper just shows your super rich you can afford an arcade 1 up
