Yeah, it was responsible for a lot of the comic I drew as a kid, which I am now in the process of remaking, along with game.. One of the bad guys, is a primordial being, most made up of dark energy, he was imprisoned in a black hole, but escapes and becomes ruler of the second moon, to a planet called Gedvaan.

@@GrahamChapman Oh it isn't done yet, still in the process of redesigning and rewriting things, very happy with everything so far. It will be all over the place when it's all complete. My brother and I had called it "Armament of Volition" in high school, we decided to keep the name it also fits, as we took a look at the main character and his crew lol. i.imgur.com/n8yAbsc.jpg This is a little sketch of the main character's portrait, Einar is his name. I'm currently re-working on his battle companion, a wolf-like beast (Varg) it is an alien of the same race as him (Einar is part alien) i.imgur.com/jv1F4jF.jpg This is when we made a mod for Final Fantasy XV, we had put him in the game lol. I just finished redoing his primary weapon, it is a gun-blade, I was influenced by my Gunbreaker on Final Fantasy XIV.. We gave him 8 elemental cartridges, influenced by the En-spell the Red Mage used in Final Fantasy XI. In the original game enemies were weak to certain elements and we did make the game very challenging. He names the weapon "Violent Grace". His secondary weapon is called an Infinite Frequency Manipulator, or IFM. A weapon that does harmonic attacks, though his fashioned as a guitar, since he is also the lead vocalist/guitarist of his metal band, we actually wrote music for him. His IFM is called "Violent Resonance".

(Though I'm still bitter about the way Square ended up treating FFXV, what with them cutting production on the Season 2 DLC and stuff, I still really liked the game itself.) Just make sure to take a couple of design precautions with the Violent Grace so you don't get hit by a copyright lawsuit courtesy of Square Enix or something. @@GrahamChapman LOL the squid is an inside joke, but we ended up coming up with a little game for him 🤣 Varg was left on Earth, (amongst other things) after the Zayin invasion. When he befriends the main character, he calls him Varg, after the German metal band.. Main character is quite obsessed with metal music, when we were kids we just called him "wolf" lol, but when giving him a name we definitely did not want to call him Fenrir. Varg is also inspired by the Fylgja of Norse myth and will also hang around Einar's body. This also worked for the game, when Einar would climb or suspend himself in air briefly. He actually views Varg as his brother, and he is also the bassist in the band, when he takes a more humanoid form. Yeah I did enjoy FFXV, but was disappointed in how that game was treated. As a kid Roberto Ferrari, was one of my influences. He moved to Japan to work at Square as an artist, and actually helped design the characters to XV, along with Nomura I liked him too growing up, along with Joe Madueria. Oh the Gun-blade thing I'm not worried about. My friend and I used to draw all types of them in school way back in the day. When we learned Gunbreaker was coming to XIV, we started drawing them, to put in the contest whenever they'd have it. But he ended up passing away, which also made me leave the project alone for a bit, but I was greatly encouraged to get back to it, after I got out of the hospital last summer. I took the design he did, and mixed it with mine. We had called the weapon type a ballistic blade, but we made a lance and axe that also have firearm capabilities. Violent Grace is also inspired by the sword Angurvadal, and has the remnants of the force that created the star it was made from within. It also worked for the original game, since we wanted both sword and gun-play, it was a Metroidvania style game we did in high school. BlazBlue I have never played, my cousin always talked about it! My brother and I were huge fans of Guilty Gear and we joked how Einar looked as if he should be a secret character in the game or so.. When I get over my little sinus infection, we'll be redesigning his ship.

Back in the days, me and my friends made a Final Fantasy tabletop RPG set in homebrewed versions of the official FF worlds. One of my primary characters on our FFVII-based world was a Half-Jenovian (came with the racial ability to Shapeshift) Black Mage called "Scarlip" (real name: Locke Loftknot) from a non-canonical town named "Utgard". His main weapon was a Laevateinn staff, his signature element was Wind (meaning he could learn Aero, Aerora, Aeroga, Aeroja and Tornado), his signature ability was Illusions (drawing some inspiration from Utgard Loki), his main summons were Fenrir and Midgardsormr, and his Limit Breaks were named after stuff associated with Loki: Lv.1 LBs: "Hunger of Sköll", caused a Solar Eclipse, inflicted Darkness on all nearby enemies. "Hatred of Hati", caused a Moon Eclipse, inflicted Fury on everyone nearby. Lv.2 LBs: "Garm and Harm", called forth a Jenova-infected hellhound, 50% chance of the hellhound blocking physical attacks targetting Scarlip, 50% chance of the hellhound counterattacking physical melee attacks -- so it was basically Interceptor from FFVI. "Gleipnir", conjured forth ethereal ribbons with the power to paralyse enemies and Summons. Lv.3 LBs: "Dry Tears of Thokk", Scarlip transformed into an old crone, instantly destroyed all nearby hostile undead, dispelled enemies' Rearise status, disabled enemy use of Rise and Arise, negated enemy attempts at invoking the powers of the Phoenix (both Phoenix Downs and Feathers as well as the Summon), basically made it so that the dead stayed dead. "Dread Hel", conjured a Jenova-infected woman, effectively the Hades/Black Cauldron summon, enemies that died were also temporarily revived as friendly undeads. Lv.4 LB: Ragnarok, caused the cursed sword itself to fall from the heavens, triggered an omni-elemental cataclysm, enemies that died were transformed into items, the Ragnarok sword remained and could be used by an ally for a short time. ...we always wondered why Square, despite Final Fantasy's D&D roots, never actually made an official Final Fantasy tabletop RPG... BlazBlue is pretty massive when it comes to lore... I mean, squeezed in between the references and allusions to Norse, Hellenistic, Abrahamic and Shinto mythology; the alchemy and quantum physics-based science and magic; as well as the largely original lore and world-building... yeah, it was pretty intense getting through that game series, even though I got the games as they were being released... it was a pretty damn dark series, too... I mean, Guilty Gear isn't exactly a story about people dancing through life upon a bed of rose petals, but BlazBlue was consistently far bleaker than Guilty Gear souped up on Norse mythology. Considering the fact that the main character's name was "Ragna" (as in, Ragnarok) and the main bad guy was an unholy amalgamation based on Jormungandr, Fenrir, Loki, Hermes, Lucifer, Satan, Iblis and Susanoo at his absolute worst, yyyeah... like, I used to think that Kefka Palazzo and Lucia Blight were the worst monsters you could possibly create in a work of fiction, but hahahah I was wrong... Anyway, if you're a fan of Metroidvanias, then I gotta ask: Have you seen "The Last Faith"? It's an up and coming indie title... Let's see Raiden has HF weaponry which can cut anything EVEN ADAMANTIUM so just put Raiden with his other weapons A.K.A the whip/staff/pole arm, the sai that stuns when fully charged, and the scissor blades. Not even Raiden with all his weapons can handle Hiryu mainly because all he needs is Cypher and Ouroborous and Legion those and well Hiryu has far better experience and more skills to get in and out of battle like the teleport, sickle to climb walls, and also the wall jump, So in other words Raiden would easily lose the fight although he would put up one, Just we need to think about Raidens Ripper mode what does Hiryu have against that if Raiden gets in close and somehow loses the sword?
