Nah, the watcher interacting with strange wasn't dumb at all imo. dr Strange got so powerful he could actually sense and interact with him. Something no other character so far could actually do. And the watcher didn't just appear out of nowhere. Strange called him out at the end. Besides, him appearing wouldn't actually change anything. Strange knew he was there already, and the universe was already destroyed. And the destruction of a universe seems like a big enough thing to me that the watcher would care to interact. Also, the watcher isn't some unfeeling thing. He seems to want to prevent all this shit, but he knows it is too dangerous. I'm sure he had a few words ready for this dr Strange.

"One life, one choice, one moment can destroy the entire universe." - The Watcher I don't think I will ever forget that line and That conversation between Strange and The Watcher at the end of that episode gave me chills man and to just see Strange crying "I'm sorry" when all the universe is destroyed because of him was heart rending and I was so sure things would work out but it didn't. What if...keeps getting better and better. I never expected an episode like this. It was genuinely scary to see Strange crack to the point where he sacrificed the universe and still never got the one he loved. But like The Watcher sticks to his job description man. He does not interfere. Somebody give the man a raise cause he is doing his job haha. (Me trying to joke because this episode really cracked my mind). And Strange was able to sense The Watcher because he was absorbing mystic beings powers for centuries - he was so powerful he was able to sense and see The Watcher. The Watcher never interferes, Strange called him out and because he was so powerful he was able to speak to him because The Watcher is usually undetectable. He didn't show himself to Strange, Strange just knew he was there now because his super jacked up powers made him able to see him. Also nexus events don't happen in apocalypses - Loki told us that so Strange talking to The Watcher would not count as interfering because nothing the Watcher said would change the apocalypse. I feel like Jaby always finds sumn to complain about that can be explained with a little more thought and a little less criticism haha. Great reaction overall though guys.

They put in the scene to show Dr. Strange could sense him. He would be able to. He read the books about him. He spoke to him at the end, because Dr. Strange called to him. It wasn’t dumb at all. Also makes his actions more painful to realize when The Watcher said he couldn’t help and didn’t.

Yes, and Uatu is not some god-like unseeable being. He lives on the Earth's moon, and has interacted with Marvel's heroes on many occasions in the comics.

Definitely my favourite of the four released thus far. A well done tragic story is a strangely beautiful thing.

*"You cannot change the Absolute Point in Time"* This explains why out of millions futures, they only won in one against Thanos. Bcoz, in all other possibilities, whatever you do, it doesn't matter, Thanos is still gonna be victorious.

3:51 Time Machine (2002) one of my favorite movies. and the same premise! (I think they kind of referenced it a bit) Also The Fountain (2006) has some hints of this. Ironically Hugh Jackman was a Dr. who had a situation similar to Dr. Strange. just like I have a situation similar to them.

Jaby watcher showed himself to strange for a reason as series progresses you'll know why he showed up that moment, Cause first episode we didn't saw watcher in episode, in second we saw him 1 time and in 3rd episode we saw him couple of times and now in this one he actually interacted with someone so let's see what he does in future episodes😁

The fact he’s that powerful and still on his knees when he loses Christine shows that he’s not truly evil. I can’t even say he made the wrong choice, because I don’t think I’d make a different decision at any point of the episode.

AMZING EPISODE

when Ancient One said "two timelines in one universe", she meant two Strange. When she attacked him, she literally split him into two, one left the scene and traveled back and found the lost books, one was left there unconscious, so he can live his life in that timeline, because Strange rewinded that timeline, he didn't teleport thru time, he moved time, that's why there's only one Strange that picked up Christine, and now there's two of them, one left, one was there to live in it. The evil one absorbed demons for years, reaching the point in time where the good Strange has reached two years of Christine's death, the evil one was like Steve and Peggy, hiding while the world moves, that's why he would still be in the same timeline, two Strange in one timeline. The scene where everyone was turning into tar, that's not happening throughout the multiverse, it's still in the same reality.

Strange became powerful enough to sense the watcher, that's why he can see and talk to him at the end. Strange hearing him before is the hint that he's getting stronger but in a wrong way. after strange talked, the watcher just decided to show himself.

It's just like in Loki when they're in an apocalypse. The Watcher showed himself because he knew that it would change nothing in the end. He cannot interfere and this way he didn't. And of all Avengers it makes the most sense that Dr. Strange would sense and know about The Watcher.

In the movie time machine . He didn't just give up . The reason he went to the future was because he wanted to go to a point where technology was advance and see if they have discovered the solution of how to save her .

I saw someone else mentioned this on another video but, the decision that split this timeline from the main is that Christine chose to ignore her "Strange Policy"

Actually the watcher responded to dr strange calling him for help and not just came out by him self as strange could sense his presence and knows who he is so the watcher was like "eh whatev".

I thought Death was punishing Stephen at first because he was trying to fool her, so everytime he was coming back on time to prevent Christine's death, she makes presence her death everytime, it was weird that moment that they got into the party but she gets a heart attack, so I thought that might was happening
@mattpiers45893 жыл бұрын
I think the Watcher was there because Strange is the only one who could sense his presence. If the Watcher existed outside the universe, and this Strange’s universe was collapsing, then the only thing left would be the Watcher outside of the crumbing universe. I hope that makes any sense.

that's why Marvel only did early screening for 1st 3 episodes they're just little changes for them, but the real multiverse starts with episode 4, and now watcher starts yo intervene more and more in each episodes, and now this doctor strange became Supreme strange and his universe is gone, now he'll travel through alternate universes and he's also in other what if episode with Captain Carter and then they both are showing up in Doctor strange in the multiverse of the madness
@MikeP8283 жыл бұрын
I don’t think you guys understood….Uatu wasn’t trying to reach out to Strange at all. Dark Strange felt his presence when he was going through time absorbing different creatures. And he sensed his presence again when the world was being destroyed.

Random comment. Thanks to Achira and Jaby. This reminds me of my relationship with my mom. She was a drug-addict during my early childhood, and no matter how much I try to have a relationship of love with her.. it winds up like Dr. Strange in this episode. thanks for this..

The Watcher didn't just jump in out of the blue to lecture Darktor Stranger. He was addressed by Strange and then replied. With the universe unraveled he could see the Watcher (as there was no reality left to obscure him. He called out to him for help and the Watcher replied. If Strange said nothing to him he would have just quietly watched.
@pthespidey50573 жыл бұрын
The watcher is always there. He goes unnoticed Because no one can sense him. Strange in this universe was able to sense him as he devoured many beings also the universe was ending so watcher was the only one left.

23:45 they may be teasing him getting more involved as the series goes on. I'm pretty sure he has intervened before in the comics (to stop Galactus I think).
