Scarlet Witch is crazy strong. She's one of the strongest of the characters in the entire marvel multiverse, and that is saying something. In the finale of House of M when she said "no more mutants", she didn't just affect the 616 comics universe, but the entirety of the multiverse, that is how strong she is. When fully powered she can go toe to toe with elder gods like Set and Shuma-Gorath and entities like the Phoenix Force. Her only real weakness is that despite all the power she wields, she is still human, with all that entails.

@@themainman1 This was not Scarlet Witch at the Apex of her power, and she was both holding back a literal god (who incidentally happens to be the most powerful of the Aesir) and was preventing a rift in time and space from consuming the world, at the same time. So yeah, she was really fucking powerful. If she only had to deal with Thor (and not just hold him back), she would have wiped the floor with him.

Yes!! 👏 They are doing such a great job on What If...? But Marvel has butchered movie, after movie, after movie. It's so frustrating!! I had zero interest in What If...? when it first came out but now I see it's the most creative and well written material they've created in YEARS! I really hope more people watch and Marvel takes note of WHY the episodes are getting great reviews. I'd LOVE a 1602 Avengers movie or full season show, animated or live action!!! 🎬 😢 I'm so bummed thinking of the great movies we could get if this group didn't just work on What If...?

I need to read 1602 and get The Sandman volumes... I've never read any comic book. It feels overwhelming because there are SO0ooo many years to catch up on, depending on the story/character I start with. I am interested in the Doctor Strange comics too because I've heard they are really good!

omg 10/10, this episode was an emotional rollercoaster, a crazy joyride in the world of Marvel 1602, just dripping with easter eggs straight across the blank canvas! glad paying attention somewhat to Shakespeare in English is helping with easter eggs in this one!

I loved how few effs they gave to historical accuracy! Robin Hood was centuries before the Tudor period and the clay tiles that Peg is running over when she escapes at the beginning of the episode didn't become commonplace until much later. I'm pretty certain that Gaiman would also have shrugged at the wanton disregard for these details with a wry smile. Good fun.

Found it really weird that they went for Rogers hood when they literally have an archer who could've been Ronin Hood. Not only that but it was spoiled in the trailer that Steve was the forerunner and also captain carter was really not needed. This didn't really feel like a "what if.l the avengers..?"
