Yeah, but that is not a good thing. In the old days, Disney didn't pay much attention to the villain design. The villians were just some evil people with powers that fit the theme of the movie. But that's all. There was nothing behind it. They always were extremely flat characters with no profile. They were just evil for the sake of it, with no explanation about WHY they are how they are. They had no backstory and no understandable motives. Sure, Agatha was very entertaining as a villain in WandaVision because she was such a fun character. But compared to all the deep emotional topics that the show dealt with, her character was definitely the oddball. That was okay, because her storyline was only a minor part of the show. But now she is getting her own series and if that is supposed to be good, she definitely could use a bit more personality and background. Since I have faith in the MCU skript writers, I'm optimistic that she will get that, but then she wouldn't be like a classic Disney villain anymore.

The boy is probably Billy, one of her twin sons. Plot says he shows up out of nowhere and begs her to take him to the Witch's Road. A mystical realm for witches in the comics. He's probably trying to get information on his mom in there. In the comics, Wanda was able to meet her birth mother briefly for the first time on the Witch's Road.

@@steeez0 Marvel is big, and some people always have to hate the big thing. I dislike Disney, but Marvel has been solid on everything so far (aside from Secret Invasion I didn't like that). MCU shows have all gone for being different and trying some new things and it has been a delight for me. I love the persistent narrative across the MCU without them doing the same formula every single time as I do have varied interests so each show hit well with me for different reasons. But some people just gotta hate, it's pretty much their personality. Hopefully most of them grow out of it.
