The abilities spell out Marvel, too (Melee, Agility, Resilience, Vigilance, Ego, Logic) :-) Plus, you can have a power like "Do This All Day", or do a "Fastball Special". So many geeky little things from the comics and movies built into the rules.

I would love for the next Deadpool movie to be a Deadpool and Cable style of story. Heck, the Glass Cannon network could run an actual play with those characters and I think it would be awesome! Cable acts as a great foil to Deadpool in the comics, creating great hilarious moments. I will always play Deadpool in the Marvel RPG! He is the best!

I still miss Marvel Heroic Roleplaying. The best Superhero comic RPG I've ever read. Yiu can still recreate using Cortex Prime but all the sourcebooks are out of print and we did get the full Annihilation cycle. :(

In Judgement Day the characters die repeatedly and I also see it in Reign of X, they use Resurrection to be Immortal. It makes for new stories especially X-Factor, and now there is the most recent GODS book by Hickman. These are different stories than ever before. It does look like the X-Men Expansion is up to date on Krakoa.

I have to say, though, we got these roles for free from the first Glass Cannon Retreat and I love it. I would have never bought this, I'm not a super fan, but it looked fun. I'm so glad we got it because I'm playing with a bunch of new friends from the Retreat. It's really fun, we can play online, and I've made new friends! I am shocked to say I recommend this highly. You'll probably even find people to play with you online!
