Marvelous Designer 7 - How To Create A Beanie

Fold arrangement is super useful in MD for basically folding anything. I hope you learn some useful tips and tricks from the tutorial. I know its quite lengthy for something so basic but i enjoy thoroughly explaining everything and showing it in real time. I have a request I have once placed on youtube with no response so far and was hoping you could help: I am trying to make African outfits and cannot get the waist wrap to naturally wrap the waist and drape like in the following pictures. As you will see, they are not skirts but wraps with knotted fabric belts. I would be very grateful if you could tackle this issue with a tutorial. Thanks ! something to note in regards to having them over the ears is that the ears would be pressed in a little, since the beanie is pressing in on the head a little! :)

The ribbing part doesn't work. I made the internal lines, selected them all, but changing fold strength on them does absolutely nothing. I even maxxed both sliders and nothing happened. And yes, sim was active.

Travis Thank you bro. I'm also a South African and I appreciate your work. Please help me with this. I'm trying to export a jacket with my own logo that is just PNG from paint 3D. My Logo doesn't show up on Keyshot 9. I just get my Jacket without any logo. I've tried the UV thing you showed on this video. Also I'm not able to export my object with any colours or textures I've applied on Marvelous Designer. Edit: I also tried loading my label on Keyshot 9 but I always manage to paint over my Logo for some reason when applying textures. Maybe you can help with that too.

I have a problem, and when I fold up the beanie he falls down again and again, I have done exactly what you have done but with me he does not fix. Why ?

Maybe allow more room for the fold or try and fold it, stop the simulation and then right click and solidify it.

Download Daz Studio and export either a Genesis 3 or Genesis 8 male or female, they will be bald.
