Hi Samuel, this was modeled separately in a program called Fusion 360. The aim of this tutorial was to just show you how i create and then simulate a flag. You can quickly create a cylinder and extend it to a certain height in a 3d program of your choice and then import that geometry into MD so that you have something to work with.

Hello and thank you for the tutorial. I am having a weird issue, where I try to input a value as strength in the wind panel, and even though I am typing in "10000" and I click enter it goes automatically to 1000000 and I cant do anything about it. If I type any value below 1000 it accepts it, but over 1000 it just adds 0 like crazy. You have any idea why this is happening?

pretty easy to make in zbrush or blender or any 3d package of your choice really... theres also a bunch of free 3d assets available on turbosquid, blendermarket etc if you want quick assets without the hassle

Thanks for this very helpful tutorial. BUT, in your video, the cone-shaped wind object is already set. I tried and when I go to Main Menu → Display → Show Wind Controller, nothing happens. The icon is nowhere to be seen. Could you please advise ?

There is a globe icon on the right side of the window, hover over it then there is the wind object, took me a while to figure out

I just bought your bomber jacket tutorial, however when I apply simulation the garment always going to the right side it does not fall, I thought it was because of the wind, I followed this course to deactivate it but it is same the garment always goes into the right it is like somehing is blowing on it, how can I resolve that please ? hey travis thanks for the tutorial, its great, but 1 question remains: why do we have to move the freezed garment away from the model? i thought it does not interact with non-freezed garment?

Unfortunately not, i'm only able to apply 1 wind controller to the scene. Multiple would actually be really cool.
