Kind of hilarious to think that Ganishka being as powerful an Apostle as he was and his rebellion against the God Hand was exactly the role he was supposed to have in their plan. Played like an absolute puppet and ultimately proven to be less of an actual threat to Griffith than a fly.

Ganishka was an evil character, Griffith was an evil character too. I feel Guts was a character that witnessed slow corruption towards an evil end. Berserk, as an anime, has the Idea of Evil as the defacto God... with the Godhand being the archangels or demi Gods or whatever... basically, the world is one of corruption and slow push towards chaos and mutilation. Even the author mutilated and made dirty so many characters in the manga/anime... everyone is corrupt in Berserk.
