Alhamdulillah! I've just completed watching the segment. I saw it yesterday, just three minutes after it was uploaded, and I am absolutely speechless with the amount of information presented. I had to pause and then reflect, then watch then pause and reflect. The content was so different from what I had understood before. I feel like I need to watch it again to fully grasp it. Overall, I found it very liberating and enjoyed it immensely. Alhamdulillah! I am filled with gratitude towards Allah for His mercy, and for preserving the Quran. Alhamdulillah! Alhamdullillah! Great segment. The traditional interpretation leafy me with a lot of questions marks. But this segment solved all the questions marks. A dog can not be a physical dog because it does not fit the story. Now I understand I understand the story better. You also need to use mathematics knowledge to understand this story from a Set A, a Set B and Set C. There is a subset from Set A which is SetA1. Use this method to rewatch the segment and you will understand it 100%. Dr. Hany is a genius if you do not know yet. We need to keep watching all his segment. I fell in love with his way of interpreting Quran. No additional ingredients ( narrations from Prophet) , nothing added. ONLY Quran can explain Itself. Good that I rewatched this episode again. I remembered about two groups and through rewatching I see there are three groups and one subgroup. Also from the end of Ayah 18:17 till Ayah 18:18 (from 46:21 minutes till 50:29 minutes) says that these people who have chosen misguidance are going to be terrorists who are going to hurt people, especially the Muminoon (believers of the pure written Quran) if they are not careful about Allah's instructions. Salaamun Alaykum. Alhamdulillah. Syukran, to be able to view another segment and on a Surah that created many attention and for many reasons. For the very least, this time we able to learn more on the 'Insights' rather than the 'adornments' (or face value of the superficial layer story). In this segment our tayr had been very kind by being extra detailed and elaborate in the interpretation so that we are not confused with the pronouns, to enable us to follow the story closely. My brief takeaways are: 1) The Surah, or rather the first 31 Ayat is not what we used to think or being told. 2) The prominent group of "Sleepers in the Cave" are not good people. The Al-fityah (including our beloved SAWS) and (subsequently) those among the main group who were revivified (3rd group) were the good one. 3) The Surah are not about legends or for inspiration but contains many valuable information for our beloved SAWS, his young companions and us the readers of the Qur'an, such as: a) Foretelling Muhammad SAWS about events in his life (especially concerning his 'journey' to Madinah and part of his time there). b) Instructions and warnings. c) How to extract the concealed. information or understanding (ie. it provides the methodology). d) Lesson or instruction for direct guidance especially for those who seek. e) And a warning that Allahh SWT do not tolerate any association with regards to his linguistic discernment. Salamun Alaykum SubhanaAllah I can totally relate to your story, I used to follow and believe that so called Sheikh 💯 I was so misguided I even bought several books DVDs etc I even made my children watch his lectures and I also tried to convince them to accept the Sheikh's teaching. I spent many years trying to escape the cities from Dajjal to save myself and my children and failing miserably each time because of economic reasons etc I was so stressed out and depressed but one thing I never gave up on, was asking Allah to guide me to the straight path and protect my thoughts from being misguided and ending up in Jehhanam. Surely Allah did, from his mercy towards anyone seeking guidance and for that I'm so humbled and thankful for his guidance towards coming across the marvelous Quran channel now I understand that I was in Jehhanam without even realizing it what a bad place to be!

Salaamun Alaykum Dr. Hany, Alhamdulillah A question on our tradition and conviction and beliefs of saying the phrase "In Shaa Allah" From your translation of QS 18:23-24, I would take it as if Muhammad saw was instructed to say the phrase evidently as a decoy or delay or deflecting strategy when he were to attend to the "Ashaab ul Kahf". Our traditional narrative also is using the same verse as quranic evidence to promotes all muslim to the phrase "In Shaa Allah" into practise/ibadat. Perhaps you could shed some light on this. Indeed it is so crucial to have questions to every thing we don't understand so when the answer is given it immediately eases the core to digest and grap it. Alhamdulillāhh. The reverse is true for those who do not ask in the first place, they may find any understanding/explanation contradicts their traditional understanding is hard to swallow or even reject it abruptly. If anyone hard to find this, it is good so they would think and do research on it hopefully. However, have they ever found it was hard too to accept the traditional understanding of the Quran the first time they knew it and done research about it? Or simply a blind following. The cave is nearly always below the mountains. It can be used to hide or hoard things - a metaphor for a segment of Bani Israel who kept some divine secret. For explorers of the cave, they have to go below the jibaal (mountains) - a metaphor for believers who sieve through the jibaal (compositional units) of the verses of the Quran. Without a guide or a Tayr, how do we expect to learn all of these (on our own)? Reference the Quran 16:43, 21:7.

This is an insightful presentation. I have some questions: 1. If there are deliberately concealed messages, such as dhirayhi is deliberately used instead of yadayhi just to mislead some readers to think it is a dog, doesn't that make this an esoteric text? If so, you should make a broad explanation of 3:187 etc. which condemns concealing the meaning of the text. 2. Both absir and asmi is form 4 imperative in 18:26. Shouldn't it be "make see and make hear"? 3. If Quran calls Madina "Madina", why is there a Yathrib in another ayat? Tradition tells Yathrib is the original name and Madina is a later nickname. Are you implying it is reverse? 4. There's no "Allahumma" in Quran? What about 3:26 5:114 8:32 etc?

salaamun alaikum, my dear teacher, when I observed the ayats (may be wrong) that the people stayed in their cave for 300 and nine more, is referring to the period from the day that jesus was designated as son of god( or equal to God) , these people who knows the truth( The small group of people , who refused to follow the doctrine of trinity) by the grace of Allah. As this surah starts referring to the people who complaints regarding their people who taken Isa as son of God. I shall revisit the ayaats once again after this presentation. My Allah give good health and strength to spread this knowledge.

Question: Can the people of the cave ( the bad people) be refered also to the ayat where Allah Swt speaks" of the donkey carrying the books( I believe it was refering to Yahia or his community)" ? Alhamdulillaah. Indeed these instructions are applicable to most, if not all of us. We need to stay in the cave for now, and concur to some of the erroneous rituals of the majority. Otherwise, we will be branded as ‘gone astray’ or murtad. Awaiting the day that a sovereign state may offer us peotection
