No wonder Tom Holland is the best and most accurate depiction of both Spider-Man *AND* Peter Parker. He took portrayal cues from Tobey Maguire's spectacular interpretation of Peter Parker, and he drew some influence from Andrew Garfield's comic book accurate Spider-Man. Holland is definitely the best Parker/Spidey that we could have asked for. Marvel did right in sticking by him. 💯

Tom Holland is literally the perfect casting for Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Perfect height, build, does the stunts, looks like he could be pulled from the comics. If he's was from New York, he could literally be the character.

jerysleary now you're just nitpicking. I know Comic Spidey is 5'10. But if Holland was 5'10 he'd be taller than RDJ, who plays Tony Stark who's 6'1 in the comics. How weird would it be for this "kid" to be taller than Ironman, even if it's by an Inch or so, it work better when someone a figuratively as big as Ironman to be able to look down on Peter height wise. Hence "perfect height".

If you put it that way i get what you mean and I can relate, but based on your first comment I was assuming you meant perfect height as in 'comic' perfect height, which is why I made an effort to point out what I assumed was a flaw. Don't talk about me 'nitpicking' bro when comic height is more or less something significant to a character, without even explaining yourself.

jerysleary but you were nitpicking. And I'm willing to bet you even googled his height. In he case of Spider-Man his height isn't that big of a deal. It's not like he's Superman or Batman, or Thor or Captain America who usually towers over most characters, and is more so physically intimidating. Spidey is usually the "little guy" despite being as powerful as he really is. Especially when around Avengers. He's not super jacked like Wolverine or Steve Rodgers but has a lean, athletic dancer/ gymnast build. Which also Holland has hence that's exactly what he does.

well, she is one of the most famous people he knows. i'm probably thinking way too deep into this, but i also think he said that because he's closer w/ zendaya than he is with rdj and keaton. those are grown men with wives and children. he has virtually nothing in common with them aside from acting. he actually hangs out with zendaya outside of all this and they're closer in age, so he actually does know her on a more personal level than say, rdj.

+jonmangaming dude, you do know a lot of people don't even use instagram. That's more of a young adult/teens/kids thing. So RDJ and Keaton's fans wouldn't be using like grandparents, parents and children of the 70's/80's (who a lot of us don't know shit about who this Zendaya chick even is). Check the twitter followers of RDJ and Zendaya maybe, I'd trust that a bit more (Keaton I don't even think uses twitter much so he probably won't have followers). More balanced between the age groups than Instagram.

Fresh Biscuits well I don't think a regular 12 year old kid is capable of mantaining a tight schedule that actors have. You have the contracts, training, and the many hours of shooting and the least you'll be worrying about then is fame.
