I should clarify on the behalf of the creator that in the aligned continuity, Sentinel is not one of the Thirteen, rather, he is an impersonator of the title. This is one of the few good ideas the aligned continuity had in regards to the primes.

@@Osman_Khan_003 The way I think I understand it that Alpha Trion gave Optimus the Matrix he himself had. And as for there being another Optimus Prime, I can only guess that his name was passed down. Like with Beast Wars, (As it has been explained to me by TJ Omega, he knows a lot more that I do.) that The Beast Wars Transformers are Predecessors to the G1 one Transformers.

Maybe you should have talked a little more about the megatronus of the covenant. He's more complex than just a flat evil charcter shown in high-capitalized media. Megatronus has a temper, but he wasn't bad, that temper of his, was just shown to hide his real vulnerabilities and disguise his real emotions, and the reason he was that way, that distant, reserved and insecure was because the other primes did not completely accept him as he was: another creation of Primus, one that was needed for them to have a chance of achieving victory against unicron. They never allowed him to be like one of them, starting by prima that just blasted him with reject and criticism and no respect for him. His relationship with solus did let the people who read the book to see that he had a soft antentive and kind side towards someone that accepted him as he was able to show that he was not a bad person. He was a person with a lot of demons, that doesn't make a person a demon itself. It's sad to see that things always end bad for this character just for not being understod, he's a character with "more than meets the eye", and this also makes the other primes seem shallow in their personalities and ways to see other people, specially prima, that was basically left alone judging people and being intolerant and unflexible, which is basicaally how he died, or how we suspect he died.

Sentinel Prime is an interesting case. In most continuities, he is not a member of the 13 Primes. He just carries the title of Prime because he was an early leader of the Autobots. He also goes by a different name Zeta Prime but I think I speak for most fans when I say Zeta and Sentinel are two different characters. In G1, Sentinel was a member of the Original Primes but other than that, he’s just a title carrier.
