Lobo has always been my favorite DC character for the most part. When the video mentioned the possibility of a movie I immediately started thinking about who would play him well. It may be hard to pull off since he’s also Aquaman but Jason Mamoa legitimately feels like one of if not the best candidate. I’m sure he would be able to play both parts but I also feel like he would end up falling in love with the Lobo character and unintentionally take away from the smelly fish f**ker which I’m sure is a reason they wouldn’t want him taking on that role also. But damn he’d be good for it. Any other ideas?

Omega Man #3 June 1983 was his first appearance and not the 90's, that was when they revamped him for the series JL International and then REBELS, but he got his modern day look for Lobo: The Last Czarnian. I would love to see Lobo written as a serious, and intense, character. No jokes, just a brutal biker version- something like SOA, but even more brutal, gory, and violent. That's terrible. Aquaman Is a pretty heavy isolationist only, and usually someone has to actively go against his kingdom to illicit a response. Lobo is a rouge antihero that only fights when his (mostly financial) interests are in question, or he can gain something. The two are pretty antithetical and having someone as limited in scope as mamoa doesn't sound wise. But then again I doubt the DCEU can manage anything, the hype of comic films is gone and they couldn't manage it then

Yes Brolin played Thanos and Cable but despite being both Marvel characters, they were in different Universes. It was stated, that Momoa's character of Aquaman will be keeped after the reboot, so these two characters will be in the same cinematic Universe, which would be very confusing and not a good idea.
